Whole-Home Wi-Fi That Actually Covers the Whole Home
Very happy with this mesh system. Setup was straightforward, the nodes paired quickly, and coverage is excellent throughout the house — including the rooms where Wi-Fi previously went to die. Speeds are consistent, connections are stable, and everything from streaming to video calls just works without drama. Once it’s running, you forget it’s there, which is exactly the goal. Two minor points: the units are a bit chunky if you’re tight on plug or shelf space, and advanced settings are fairly basic compared to premium systems. Neither affects everyday performance. Overall, strong coverage, reliable speeds, and no more router rage. A solid mesh system that does what it promises.

wow
I used to think my WiFi had commitment issues—it would drop out faster than a bad date. Then along came the MERCUSYS Halo H80X, and suddenly my internet and I are in a stable relationship. This 3-pack mesh system banished dead zones from every corner of my house, including the WiFi black hole known as the upstairs bathroom. Five stars, easy. Setup was so simple I half expected it to demand a round of applause. Plug it in, follow a few steps, and boom—lightning-fast internet everywhere. The speed is ridiculously good; streaming, gaming, and Zoom calls all happening at once without a single stutter. My devices now connect faster than I can say “buffering.” Honestly, this thing didn’t just fix my WiFi—it fixed my faith in technology. The coverage is rock solid, the design is sleek, and my family has stopped yelling “the internet’s down!” every ten minutes. Five glowing stars, would buy it again in a heartbeat (though I probably won’t need to, because this setup feels built to last).

Well worth the money.
Even with limited tech experience this is easy to set up. We have it connected by cable to our Internet box meaning we no longer need the provider router that was bulky. We positioned the main box downstairs in the centre of the house and 2 additional boxes upstairs all pair easily. You can allow devices to connect at different speeds and prioritise devices, great for Wfh. We run 3 gaming devices at once along with multiple other items and don't have any issues. Obviously that needs decent provider speeds. It works well if you experience parts of the house where standard router fails to connect. Good purchase, would recommend

It does the job.
As per the title, it does the job and it does it very well by comparison to the setup that I was running before. The Halo H80X set was bought to replace a Tenda MW6 setup. I've always had issues with the Tenda system, constantly dropping out and moving devices from one node to another even if the device was already on the best node at the time. Anyway, we have added extra area for the network to cover and there was no way that the Tenda mesh was going to be able to handle it. I spent about a week researching the many options, and this offering seemed pretty good for the price, so I ordered it. As soon as it arrived, I set about the installation, and within about 30 minutes it was up and running perfectly. The app is brilliant, and we have an amazing range of coverage. I have a workshop in the garden where I have a few computers and a variety of machines that depend on a good network connection, which just wasn't possible before. We have a 100Mbs internet connection, and was only achieving around 9Mbs over WiFi on my phone in my workshop previously, but now it's up to 90Mbs. I know it's not entirely fair to compare this system to the Tenda system due to it being much faster by design, but even so, it seems to be just of a better quality, even the app is more usable.

Inadequate performance, constant signal drop outs. Dont buy
Overall the product is bad, the signal will constantly drop out. This includes devices that are wired into the Halo. Customer service although nice, are not very useful. However this was via email as the phone opening hours are Monday - Friday 9-5pm. Which are not very user friendly. After several back and forth over the course of several weeks I've given up. I was looking for a product which would offer constant performance, not extreme speeds, just constant usable performance. However this does not provide it. I'm unable to have video calls/zoom etc, as the other party picture will drop, the voice will become near impossible to understand. This also includes the other parties unable to understand me. The speed when connected is identity to what is offered via my IPO, however the ping is bad. So even when I have signal it isn't really usable. I had a similar experience with another Marcusys Mesh. However the wifi was awful and just not usable while anything wired was good. While this kit is just too inconsistent. My property is under 1500Sqf, I have one mesh connected to the router one onside of the house, one in the centre of the house and another on the other side of the house. None of the units have strong signal So I have zero idea how is can clam 6000sqf. I wouldn't recommend the product. Customer service opening times not usefriendly Product speed and signal awful Dont waste your money.

Internet connection
I added all 3 Halos to my internet & showed as connected on the app. As soon as I took the lan cable out it went to red. So not sure why this would happen. They were quick to set up, excellent. But then halos went read so that would mean no connection. Does not make sense. For this reason I may have to return the item.

Big Boost in Speed
A bit pricey but totally worth it. It helped my broadband go from 100 to 800. Works really well and makes the whole house faster.
