Q: I am using this as a subtrate for my meal worms. Is there any trace of DE?

This does not have Diatomaceous Earth. This wheat bran is also for human consumption and many of our customers also use it for meal worms. This is an USDA certified organic product.

Q: What's the best way to store them as it's being used? Just an airtight container? Should it be in the fridge?

I put it in a large airtight container at room temp. From there transferred to a smaller airtight container at room temp

Q: Is this unprocessed wheat bran?

The package looks like what I am using. It is UNPROCESSED. I use it with my smoothie every morning. It is the coarsest wheat bran I have ever used. The description language indicates it is UNPROCESSED. 1-2 HEAPING TBLSP WITH A COFFEE MUG OF PROTEIN DRINK, fruit, nut butter. After consuming in the morning, drink plenty of water throughout the day. (I kid my Urologist that he wants me to drink a bucket of water a day.) When you eat Wheat Bran, you are committing to drinking the water. The traditional 8 glasses (8 oz glass) a day. That's my goal. Sometimes I only make it to 3-4 glasses. Not good.
