I bought this when I started having problems with my thinking. What I was thinking was not what was coming out of my mouth. I could not even follow a recipe because I would put something in and then totally forget whether I had added that ingredient or not. I would brush my teeth and forget whether I had done it, and I would be right in the middle of a sentence and not only forget what I was about to say, but I would forget what subject I had been talking about. My mind would go blank like someone had just washed a chalkboard. So I bought these to see if they would help. They were easy to take and they did work. But after a week of taking them, I noticed that I had blisters on my tongue and inside my mouth. Then I started itching on my lower back and shoulders, and around my ankles. After another week, suddenly my tongue started burning as if I had scalded it by eating something that was too hot. I suddenly began having intestinal cramps, bloating, gas, and eventually diarrhea. My lips began to swell until they were about 4-5 times their normal size. They split and cracked and peeled until they bled whenever I would lick them. My husband came in from work one morning and asked if he needed to take me to the Urgent Care. My face was swollen and my eyes were swollen past my lids. My upper eyelids were so swollen that I could not even fully open my eyes. Doc put me on Benedryl and I stopped taking the supplements. It took yet another week for the buildup in my body to get worked out of my system. So while I was not outright allergic to it, I did have a "sensitivity" to it that caused a reaction as it built up within my body. So while I like what it did to help my thinking, I can't use it anymore. I hope that what progress I have gained with my thinking won't go back to the way it was after it all gets worked out of my system. But I guess we will see.

Maybe I need to try it much longer, because I don't think this supplement is really doing anything for me or Brandy. I would need a brains specialist or a dedicated Doctor to see if there's any kinds of improvements, whether it's for cognitive health, or any physical, arthritic, or muscular debilitating enhancing, that I hoped to see but the bottom line, is brands may make that difference. Try it, but of course taking it on a regular basis is definitely recommended, something I didn't do from the very beginning. It may work for you, but I'll never get this again, need to be apprehensive when doing Google searches, they're in it too, for the money!

Updated: The company reached out to replace or refund the product without me reaching out. Very nice. Original: Honestly tried this brand to save some money because you get 180 capsules for a good price... Well the quality is non-existent and I normally feel that alpha gpc helps me with strength training, but these are just weak capsules with zero potency. Would not recommend them. I even took double the recommended dosage to see if I could feel anything at all but this is just garbage.
