I am extremely happy with this. I have been using it to make beaded necklaces with Artisan turquoise and tiger’s eye beads. It has a much better elasticity than the first roll of leather cord I ordered from Amazon. It can also handle a good bit of weight without stretching out of shape. The golden brown Tiger’s Eye necklace with the rectangle beads is especially heavy. And there has been no unwanted stretching. I am able to string 6mm and some 4mm beads with this cord. Thank you!

I purchased this is both white and black 1.5mm. The quality is excellent and exceeded my expectations. It is very soft and easy to work with. I use it to make bracelets, so I need to be able to knot and braid it. I have had no trouble with the coat cracking. Also, please keep in mind that the 1.5 diameter is very small so if you pull hard enough, it is going to snap. Normal wear will never pull that hard. I had to really pull hard and even then, it was very difficult to get it to snap. If someone is that hard on their jewelry, they are going to have problems no matter what it is. Also, all of the leather cord I have purchased from this seller has never had anything more than a faint smell of leather, I expect that and even want it. I’m glad I found this and will continue to buy it. Tip: when tying knots, it’s best to work it instead of pulling it. Pulling it will weaken it and can damage the coating. Hope this helps 😊

I bought the 1mm diameter version. It can be used to string beads or to macrame. 1mm is pliant, easy to manipulate. However knowing leather, I know it is breakable and should avoid contact with sweat, lotion, and water.

I had a necklace with vegan suede that broke. I needed something that would hold up better. So I chose this and it is fantastic. Even though its thin and thinner than the original faux thread, it is extremely durable, good quality, and easy to work with. Its also beautiful and doesn't smell funny, like other have mentioned. I recommend this and the price is reasonable too. Thank you so much- would shop again!

It was easy enough to use, and it was the right length and thickness, exactly as described. I bought this to make jewelry, and my first test was an obsidian beaded bracelet. Three months of regular use was enough to break the leather cord, so I wouldn't call it durable. I also used it to create an amethyst necklace, and that lasted longer...but the leather broke with mild pulling to tighten a knot. It can't hold a knot worth a darn unless the moon is blue, your neighbor's cat sneezes while facing the North Pole, and you just forgot why you walked into the kitchen...simultaneously. I had to use glue to keep it together, but even that didn't last more than a few weeks. My advice? Just use metal like sterling silver or stainless steel if you want to make beaded jewelry...or any jewelry. This leather is too delicate for the task.

Its not very soft for leather cord and its VERY stiff. The color matches but I bought it to use to make jewelry and with how stiff it is, it will not work for the project. The material itself is very plastic feeling and doesn't feel very sturdy, I will not be purchasing this again.

I buy this this quite often as it's a good quality, looks nice for the pendants that I make, is perfect thickness and texture and it's super easy to use
