I hooked this up and followed directions and this code reader listed all the codes for my vehicle for my ownership period= 6 years. Since most of them were cleared earlier, I simply cleared them from this unit. After fixing the item with the reported new code, I am now left with one more item I was unaware of= non-performing O2 sensors (Left-Right). Not sure I work to tackle those. I recommend this reader.

Dosent work on a 2003 ford explorer

I purchased two more of these so now have them in all 3 of my vehicles. Tired of the check engine light coming on for dumb sensors. Simple plug & fix. You can read the codes and decide which ones are actually critical, and erase the O2 ones without having to go to a dealer or service station. Well worth the $35 bucks !
