This was the simplest and cheapest solution I could find for the question of what to do with a trailer spare tire. It worked like a charm, holding the rim and tire solidly on my center beam. Highly recommend!

This U-bolt mount works very well for my boat trailer. The product was accurately described and proper dimensions were published in the advertisement. I failed to measure the underframe for the trailer to ensure that the bolt would fit over the frame and accommodate the trailer tire. My tires were a little oversized so I had to relocate it to a less desirable position. It's an excellent solution for those who don't already have a tire mount on their trailer.

Pros: Easy to install and works just as explained on Amazon site. Cons: The diameter is 7/16 and not the usual 1/2 inch of the usual wheel bolts. And therefore the lugnuts are unusual small and require a smaller socket size than my trailer wheels (13inch diameter wheels with 1/2" bolts and 13/16" lugnuts). This means I would have to have two sizes of socket wrenches if I have a flat on the road. It would be much smarter if the lugnuts that secure the spare tire required the same size socket wrench as the wheels on the trailer. As sold, this bracket and lugnuts would probably match a trailer with smaller wheels

Worked well to secure my spare tire to my Sea-Doo trailer. Good product at a good price. Has 13/16 nuts.

This is the best accessory for my trailer, some people were saying the threads are to short, they should try flipping the tire around next time.
