Disliked it was bad from new only 5 min of run time on it

This product didn’t work in 40hp 2006 efi. Says product compatible but it’s not. Waste of money. It would run but would cause a lag, and would almost bog/stall

Looks identical for the price. Unfortunately it quit working before we even got the boat in the water.

This was the second pump I purchased to replace my failing original pump. The first replacement pump triggered the alarm. I had to take it to a dealer and pay a fee for him to read the code. The code was for the fuel pump current draw being outside manufacturer specifications. He informed me that he has had the same issue with non-original fuel pumps. This fuel pump was again, supposed to be a "replacement for original", however this one also triggers the alarm system for current draw on my motor. My motor falls in to the third grouping of serial numbers when looking at the Mercury parts website, so it is a newer version (2016).
