Purchased for snorkeling in an area with known boat traffic so that I wouldn't get run over - worked great for the purpose. Inflates easily (which from me is saying something as I am notoriously bad at balloons, etc) and packs down fairly tight, easy to carry around. Also does provide a noticeable buoyancy improvement and added sense of security for those times a current kicks in. The yellow is hideously bright, which is the entire point.

Outstanding product. I was doing extensive snorkeling alone and my family would lose track of me easily. So to humor them, I bought this to flag myself. Turns out I got very tired one day from new and unanticipated currents and higher waves and it dawned on me I could rest with this. Loved it. Another time my mask malfunctioned and I used this to float and make repairs. Then grandkids arrived and everyone fell in love with it. (I suspect it really helped one of them who was a new snorkeler when his mask got water in it and he was choking a bit.) Grabbed this to recover. Plus, the family loves watching it bob along marking the progress of others. I am ordering another with a different color so we can tell which person is which. A great “plan B” if things go amiss. It does not interfere until you want to dive down. You could easily disconnect it and reconnect, but be sure of the currents and wind first or you may not be able to retrieve it.

I have used this device once for open water swim at the lake. The color is very noticable. The device worked as it should. Straps are adjustable and easy to assemble. Since I have only used it once, I can't speak to the longevity of the device. Although, the material seems durable. I plan to use the Swim Bubble on the average of 1-2 times/week for about 3 months (when my schedule is not conducive to open water swim). I researched the Swim Bubble on triathlete sites and it was given high reviews from a trusted and experienced triathlon coach. My intention is to use the Bubble for several seasons. I feel the device will last for many seasons if it is taken cared well. i.e. don't leave in hot car, deflate during off season, etc. I am a female athlete, 5'4", 117 lbs. The belt fits my waist and length of my body just fine. I recommend the Swim Bubble.

During Tri season, I swim in the lake at least weekly, and while I normally swim with a kayaker next to me to help keep me from being run over by a rogue boat, we wanted to add this for extra safety precautions. It's very high visibility. The bubble itself is made of a pretty thick material, which I feel pretty comfortable with being durable. I've only used it for one season though, so we'll see how it goes over time. Inflating and deflating is easy. The strap stays in place like it should, and it doesn't get in the way of my swim stroke. It can be used to hold onto and float if necessary. On a side note, the waist strap came in super handy as a race belt for my last tri of the season. I took the float off of it, and used it for the bike and run portion of the race to keep my number on, rather than pinning it to a shirt. Cool product. Glad we got it.

I love these, I have 2. I use them when snorkelling to deter rude full pelt swimmers from crashing into me. Nowdays people don't care, at least this gives them a shock & they usually avoid me. I have seriious disabilities & for me it's an essential aid. I also use when in my outdoor spa as a pillow to give neck support

Color is bright and visible. It shipped really fast. Easy to blow up. Note that smallest size (15L) that I ordered does not have dry storage. The New Wave Swim bubble gave me a sense of confidence swimming in the open water that I didn't realize I needed. I am a strong swimmer but I found it helped me have a better swim because I wasn't as worried about not being seen by other water traffic. I would recommend this 15L bubble to any swimmer looking for visibility and a float device for those "just incase" moments.
