This shower chair is perfect as it is not too big or too small. It was easy to assemble and took me less than 30 minutes. It doesn’t take up much room in my shower and it provides the support that I needed. It’s durable and very sturdy, doesn’t wobble and stays stable during use.

This shower chair required no tools to assembled, although it does take hand strength to tighten the bolts. It assembled in less than 30 minutes. I'm tall so the adjustable height was important. The highest position is perfect for me and matches the height of my extra height toilets so easy to sit and rise. I got it for an upcoming surgery recovery, but I'll continue to use it as I get older it makes foot care easier especially if you have any balance issues. It fits easily in my shower and has a small enough footprint that I could have it outside the stall during cleaning the shower. In spite of its light weight, it is very stable without any wobble in the legs or feet.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy. My mother has a pretty small shower but the chair fits perfectly. She loves how safe she feels with this chair.

I have a small area where my desk top computer is located. I am handicapped with arthritic joints, you can get heavy weight chairs but NONE are high enough to matter, it puts pressure on the joints to sit on the chairs for sale. I use this, without the back for sitting at my computer. I can raise it a few more inches AND the seat is a few inches wider than ANY other chair I paid for . And, it's compact so it fits in my small area just fine. I put a pad on the seat and it is so much nicer for me to sit and stand up. In a perfect world, chairs would be wide enough for big rumps AND have side arms to help you stand. But every such chair that has a side bars/arms take the inches away for the privilege of the arms.

That's right, I said assembly is tool free. Assembly sheet was easy to read English and easy to understand along with the pictorial assembly. I just had to get my father out of a bad home. He is three months shy of 88 years of age. I brought him home to look after him and noticed he did not want to shower or bathe. I put up numerous grab bars to aid him in and out of the tub, but still got resistance to showering or bathing. So I bought this chair so he could sit down and relax doing so. When the box arrived he saw it and asked who is this for. I told him it was for him. He got so excited that he started to assemble it himself. His face and demeaner had changed so much over what I thought was a simple chair. I let him put in the "T" bolts and then I made sure they were tightened down good. When it was fully assembled he couldn't wait to sit on it and did so. I told him it was for the bath tub so he could sit down and use the extended shower wand for bathing. At first he was apprehensive but when I put it in the tub he jumped into the tub to sit in it and attempted to turn on the water. Don't worry, I saved the day on that one. He is so happy over that shower/tub chair. He LOVES it! The quality of the chair is amazing. It is very strong but light. It has a back rest to it that is not required to be attached but sure aids in stabilizing the occupant. The legs have a super large amount of adjustability up and down. The leg feet have very large rubber stabilizer feet. And they are angled a bit to provide proper support in the tub. I may be missing some other spec's to share, but all I can say is this is a great SAFE chair for the elderly for bathing. I give it a full 5 Stars. I highly recommend this one. I think he will too!

This chair needs assembly but does not need tools. It fits perfect in the tub and 5 minutes to assemble. I might buy one for my small outside deck.

This seat is so helpful. It is lightweight but sturdy, sits level, it adjusts to the perfect height & it fits well in my shower. I feel safe when I use it.

I bought this for my girlfriend who has a herniated disc and can't stand up for very long. She used to have to really rush in the shower because she just couldn't stand it in there--not anymore. She tells me that this chair has made a huge difference in the quality of her life and only at a fraction of the expense of her dignity (sadly there is a stigma about using and having a product like this, especially for people under the age of "old"). The adjustability of the unit is really nice. You can take the back off although I'm not sure why you'd want to. I was quite impressed with how sturdy this thing is in the tub. It absolutely does not move unless you want it to move. That is impressive. Do make sure you measure your tub before you buy this as it will not fit some narrower tubs. My old lady is grateful for this because she doesn't have to suffer in the shower anymore. If you're not so hot on two feet (or what have you) and something as easy as taking a shower just isn't easy anymore, treat yourself to some stability with this chair. You'll be amazed at how much better your life can be with one simple change.

I put this in a shower for my mom and she loves it. It is very comfy.
