Even though I knew this chair was big, I didn't expect it to be THIS big. It's absolutely wonderful for my 6'2" husband, but for 5'4" me it's definitely a bit large. It's still very comfortable, but my feet do dangle. It's also quite heavy so may not be good for long treks.

My sister got these for my parents almost a decade ago if not longer. After sitting on our porch all that time Thru all the elements and moisture Florida can throw at them plus a porch that floods everytime it rains. They just finally now started to rip a bit in the seat area. Not enough for my fat a$$ to bust Thru but enough that it was coming time to replace. These sit high and are so easy to get out of. They are comfortable and not slouchy like normal camping chairs. I love everything about them and they make fantastic beach and patio chairs. My dad was tall 6’1 and I’ve had very heavy people (at least 400lbs) sit in these chairs not a give or away about them. Just phenomenal durability for our house. I hope they never stop making these.

We bought these chairs several years ago in red. We loved them so much, we bought them again in black. We’ve had the black chairs for less than a yr and the seems have separated.

My tall husband is ALLLLLL leg, and I wanted to get him a nice camp chair where he didn't feel like he was sitting on the ground. His ankle-to-knee is like 21inch, but most chairs are built for the "big" part of Big& Tall. This one has the tallest seat height that I could find, and it fits!! Decently comfy, but we've only used it for short periods of time so far. I think husband will be happy. The seat and back are firm& taut, so there's no sagging when you sit. Packing it up in the bag is not hard, it's only a little challenging because the chair is almost as tall as I am. Don't fool yourself- this is a big chair! But that is what we wanted, so it's all good. Oh and because it seems like short people are angry at the "XL BIG HUGE CHAIR" ...... I have to say, I'm 5'6" and my feet don't touch the ground! Boooo! (sarcasm)
