UPDATE: Months later, the gun is still like new. I've started putting it in a cabinet with desiccants. I've also put it to some use and can now tell you firsthand: The gun is powerful enough for humane pest control. I recommend pointed high-speed pellets for that purpose. I bought this for pest control (armadillos). It is powerful and fun to shoot. Even at full power, the sound is not too loud and so there's no concern about disturbing the neighbors. I can see how people would think this is flimsy. You don't want to put too much leverage on this. When I pump the priming handle, I keep my other hand above the rear sight, so it's like I'm bringing my two hands together. This minimizes the chance of anything bending. I think the metal struts on the priming handle are probably the parts that people bend. Go through the motion smoothly and don't let your priming hand be pushed left or right - just bring it right down. As for the broken stock issues people have, I'm not sure how that is caused. I keep the gun boxed when it's not in use. The scope is perfectly usable, but I'm an iron-sights kind of guy and I do better without the scope. I wish they included a high-power light instead. This gun has a small barrel and forestock so you'll have to get creative in order to put a light on it. The only minor gripe I have is that deloading it involves firing it. This is fine for BBs, but if you buy expensive pellets, you'll want something like a piece of thick styrofoam to catch the pellet without damaging it. That way, you can head outside when you hear pest animals around, and if you don't get a shot, you can recover the ammo. Then you can reuse it. Overall, I think this is quite a good gun and I've had no problems with it.

This is a very good rifle however not one suitable for a small younger indivdual. My purchase was for my wife and when we let her lift and try it; it turned out to be a bit heavy for her and she was unable to pump it up beyond to pumps. So if your purchasing one please be advised. It works great for myself though so we'll be keeping it. I do have .22's though and are lighter she'll have to just keep on using one of them. The quality of this piece is very good and after sighting it in the shot groups turned out to be super tight. I didn't attach the scope but it too appeared quite nice and the optics looked super clear when i took a look through it. It's a great piece if purchased for the right person. Gun works fine and shoots well, but the scope is not very good and you need to order a part to make sure it doesn’t slide back-and-forth or just tape it in place other than that the gun is great and is very affordable

This was a great BP guy for myself/Pellet gun however I could not and still cannot till this day put the scope on. I told myself I would pay someone to do it, but never got around to it so unless you know how to do that, I would not purchase. Other than that, it does what it’s supposed to do.

It broke only after a month of using it, but it was super accurate while aimming it.

Good air gun.

The scope that comes with this is absolute garbage, and it doesn't even have enough power to delete squirrels as it says on the box. Apparently with 12 pumps my pellets only got around 650 fps and it shoots a 6 in spread at 20 yards. This gun is also the most cumbersome to reload because you got to drop in a pellet and hope that it enters the chamber perfectly straight but most of the time it takes a solid 30 seconds shaking it around to get it to finally sit straight and not load in backwards. Then you got to pump it 12 times every single time cause anything less than 12 isn't enough and frankly even 12 aint enough. After a while I started to think that maybe if I just threw the gun at a squirrel, I might finally hit one with it. Also if you are interested in the bb portion, the bbs for some reason struggle to even enter the chamber for holding bbs.
