The majority of negative reviews I’ve seen on these tasty little snacks is that they are from China. I understand concerns about this, but without any known issues or problems from this provider, I feel the concerns are a bit unfounded. And it seems most food products coming to the US from China has more stringent quality checks. From what I have read, none of the issues they see in China rarely if ever seem to make it to the US. I’ve ordered several boxes from this company and the other major freeze dried fruit snack seller here (Crispy Fruit) and have had zero issues with quality, taste, or packaging. If you haven’t tried these yet, and have been on the fence because of their origin, i would try them and be your own judge. If they taste bad, contact Amazon to return them and get a refund. But I highly doubt you will be disappointed. So far the only kinds I haven’t liked were the beet root, and the peach flavored ones. They weren’t inedible, they just weren’t my favorites. But Apple, banana, strawberry, strawberry/banana, and Asian pear are excellent, and I keep coming back for more. Kids really love the apple cinnamon (I think that is my favorite as well). My only complaint is I wish you got a little more per package. I usually eat 2-3 packages for one snack.

I love these apple crisps! I am 36 years old and have no small kids, so there's no way I can disguise that I am buying what could be toddler food for myself and my colleagues at work. I bought two cases on a monthly subscription. My colleagues keep coming into my office and taking two packs at a time. I just can't keep them on the shelf. The texture is not like dehydrated food normally is. These are not hard or brittle. They have more of a puffy fluffy texture, since they are freeze dried. They have a nice snap to them, without being dense or chewy at all. Imagine the texture of a corn puff, and it's kind of like that. I opted for the cinnamon ones, because they were a little cheaper. These would be great in school lunch boxes and would even be safe for your toddler who is starting to self feed. I have never experienced any issue with seeds or had a bite that wouldn't dissolve in your mouth over time. If you are looking to replace chips, salty snacks, high calorie foods, or fatty guilty pleasures, look no further! The serving size provided in a package isn't very big, but that would be my only complaint. We often just opt to open two bags to cure our craving. This is a one of a kind snack - in taste, in texture, in calories, and in pure indulgence. Please purchase these with great confidence. I would recommend these for school lunch boxes, toddler snacks, soft food for elderly folks, or a nice snack to take to the office and share with friends. You can't go wrong here no matter who you are. Bring some joy into your life!

Great healthy snack!

Would have given this shipment 5 stars but one of the packages must have been exposed to air because the apples were soft, sticky & brown. Tossed it. These are one of my favorite snacks before bed because they are light, sweet & all apple, no sugar added.
