Fantastic item, highly recommend
This was bought as a gift for my partner when we moved to our new house, just to see what it would be like at night time in the back garden. I am thoroughly impressed with the item, size and quality, it is great value for money. This is a definite must have for beginners - easy to set up and use, not overly heavy or light, comes with a carry case and different adjustable lens, and a clip for your phone to take photos through the lens of what you see.

Great for starting out
The 80mm Aperture 600mm Refractor Telescope is an excellent choice for beginners and kids interested in astronomy. The optics are surprisingly clear for its size, providing bright and detailed views of the Moon, planets, and some deep-sky objects. Assembly was straightforward, and the telescope feels sturdy and well-built. It’s lightweight enough to move around easily but stable enough for steady observations. The included accessories are useful and make it a complete starter kit for anyone new to stargazing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the night sky with an easy-to-use, quality telescope.

My first Telescope
After reading reviews I have had no problems with the tripod (frequently mentioned) Telescope was easy to setup and the object finder does work but takes time & patience to setup. I think the view finder will require frequent adjustment to keep it aligned. Camera attachment worked well once I worked out the alignment with my iPhone. Still learning - but looking forward to summer nights as it’s clear and crisp in December but flipping cold!

Decent
There's better telescopes out there but for the price it's good, especially if you're a beginner, really light and easy to carry as well as being easy to set up

Telescope
My son is very much into astrology and planets so when he mentioned he always wanted a telescope I bought this for him at Christmas. He loves it. It's great value for money and very sturdy and come with stand which extends. One happy lad.

It's good, but NOT 64x magnification...
What you need to know before buying this telescope: Is it ideal for children or good for adults? This is for children from around 8 years old. For adult use, it's disappointing. Is it hard to set up? No, I set it up in less than 5 minutes -- but the telescope and some parts are flimsy (incl. phone holder) - remember, it's for children so the materials are mostly toy-like. WIll you get good crater detail on the moon? Yes, it is ideal for moon details. Will you see details on stars? (like rings of Saturn)? No, and this is why it gets a 3 stars review. It reports 64x magnification but it is NOT in any "real" sense. With the strongest viewing lens, the moon is about 2.5x size of the naked eye view. It needed a stronger lens to be worth the price tag. Saturn appears almost the same as with a naked eye. Does it pack away neatly? Yes, it is very neat to pack away and the bag it comes with is a good bonus. In conclusion, it's good and fairly decent - and definitely looks the part - but remember it's not professional in any sense and it is not a bargain. I would not purchase this again unless to donate it to a primary school.
