I used about half of this container to season a 15 lb brisket. Smoked the brisket for 12 hrs, wrapped in butcher paper and heated to 203 degrees and rested in a cooler. The seasoning was perfect. Lots of flavor in the thin and thick sections of the meat. Nice bark. The seasoning was a good value and not full of ingredients developed in a lab.

Very tasty bbq flavor to use as a rub or sprinkle on your food. Also not too high on sodium.

I ordered 10-42 BBQ's new spice rubs the day after being introduced on Amazon. The first offerings are only available in a variety pack of BBQ, Spicy BBQ and Brisket rubs. I've cooked with the BBQ only, as of now, but it was very good and a departure from a lot of the very popular "BBQ" rubs I have, and still do use. The presence of chili powder gives the salt/sugar background, along with the other spices, gave a very fresh and new flavor profile to my pork. Nice job 10-42! I'm looking forward to trying the Spicy BBQ and Brisket very soon. I placed my order on Sunday morning and received it Monday afternoon.

The best rub of the 3 is the brisket rub. It leaves an unbelievable bark. The best by far. I just ordered additional bottles. Try it.

Great flavor without all the salt

I would like to give an honest review of this seasoning, but I can’t even use it. The entire bottle has become what appears to be one giant cat turd. I tried a little bit that hadn’t turned into a rock and it was tasty and would probably be good on a brisket. This item is not eligible for return so I’m glad I didn’t buy the big bottle. -edit- Seller reached out and corrected the issue, so I upped it a few stars. Still haven’t gotten to try it and I don’t do a brisket often enough to buy it again right now. But the seller gets A+ marks in my books.

I used this on a 16 hour slow smoked brisket. It came out fantastic and everyone loved it. would buy this again.
