Purchasing this cotton yarn on a cone is a great way to save money. I have purchased many of these cones from this brand, always give me high-quality yarn. This cotton yarn is great for crocheting wash clause, towels, hot pads, items you use in the bathroom and kitchen that need to be washed often. My next project is to crochet a bathmat that I can occasionally wash. I will probably need at least 2 of these cones, may be a third. This beautiful yarn is very easy to crochet with, and if you make errors in your stitches, it does pull out nicely. I don't have trouble with it splitting. It is a nice 4-ply thickness.

This is a very good cotton yarn. Stitches up easily, the texture is a little rough but that's to be expected from a cotton yarn.

This may not be the softest cotton and it sometimes splits, but it is consistent and durable for many projects and comes in a wide variety of colors. The cones are cost effective for larger projects.
