This is a versatile and well-made phone mount that should work for most applications. It includes two different length mounting screws and two different width adapters, allowing it to work for most any diameter handle bar. I mounted it on a CycleBoard which has a small diameter handle bar, but with one of the adapters it works perfectly and is very secure. It also has fairly deep jaws; one of my phones is 7/16” thick with its case and this mount holds it very securely. It’s a good phone mount; I highly recommend it for use on round handle bars.

Honestly I’ve ridden alot of motorcycles and tried a lot of mounts on both my bicycles and dirtbikes and all sorts of stuff and this thing is rock solid. I’m blown away.

It holds my phone on a bicycle. I wouldn’t trust it for a motorcycle tho.

I use this to mount a phone on my road bike. Strava and other ride maps are great with phones, and that's what I use this for. I use my phone like a ride computer and a GPS. This holder keeps it handy. No more reaching back and digging in my jersey pockets to find my phone, no more risk of dropping it while I'm riding. Works with the provided handlebar clamp, or use it as a headset cap. Either way works well for me. I like the clamp best because the holder is off center with the side extended out to hold my phone. I mount it on the left, and the phone is close to center. PLUS, I can level it with the road and it looks more aero.. lol.. I am going to order the bands to help ensure that I don't accidentally knock it off. I have popped the phone out of the holder with my shoulder, roadside, while trying to get my chain back on after a drop. That's the only time it's failed and that wasn't bad. I'm using this with a Motorola G5 Plus in a Supacase, similar to an otter box. The case has a bevel on the bottom that limits the side gripping surface, but that hasn't been a problem. Great little holder. At this price, I'd buy another one. The quality is ok, It's not the most solid thing I've ever seen, but it stiffens up when you tighten it down and it holds strong with no rattles or shaking, and that's what matters. 5 stars

Clamp grips securely without damaging the phone.

Wow. Great piece of gear to hold my cellphone, very durable at a good price. And it arrived in two days! (east coast). I'm going to use an old iphone 5 as a bike computer. I like how it mounts pretty close to my handlebars. The stem is only 23mm in length (the chassis adds another 8mm in height). I noticed the version that allows the phone to rotate has a stem about twice as long. You definitely have to be careful mounting the bracket around your handlebars, especially if you have carbon bars. It's printed on the bracket that you should tighten to 6Nm. The max diameter is also printed, 31.8mm, which is the std diameter of bars for a road bike. There are also fillers included to allow mounting on a smaller diameter bar. For being CNC machined out of metal it surprisingly only weighs 3.5oz. My iPhone 5 weighs 4.2 oz. The package also comes with six rubber pads, four of which you affix to the little feet that hold the phone. Two are extra. In addition, there's a longer screw to mount it on your bike stem. I'm not sure that screw will fit my particular headset but I don't plan to use it as I'd rather have my phone farther forward anyway. So for less than $15 I don't have to cough up $250 for a bike computer. I always want to take a phone with me, so the total weight gain is about that of a bike computer (of course, not as aero as one and not waterproof!). I'll update the review after a few rides with it.

Easy to install and sturdy. On one of my motorcycles this worked well - rode for a few hours with no issues. I bought another one for my other motorcycle and the engine vibration on that bike loosens the screw to hold the phone - luckily I noticed it just as my phone was about to slide out. I have the phone in a simple thin rubber case. I tightened it as tight as I dared to not break the phone and it stayed in for the next few miles but didn’t trust it so I’ll return the mount. The only other thing I didn’t like about the mount was I wish there was another level of adjustability in the mount. If you mount on a part of the handlebar that’s not perfectly level (for instance I have cables and other things in the way where the bar is level to the ground) then the mount sits at and angle. It’s still functions fine but is a bit annoying to have the phone sitting at an angle.

I use it with iphone 13 pro max and it grips it well, i use a silicone case for the phone and would use this mount with that type of case. With it though works just fine.
