Cannot possibly be the same formula! (+ update)
My friend gifted me the "Happy Birthday!" candle from Wax &Wit, and I loved it. One candle...ONE, filled the entire house with its wonderful scent. Every time I lit it, it did its magic. So, naturally, I thought I had finally found a candle to love. I ordered these from Amazon. Lit one of them....Waiting....Waiting...Hmmm, let me get closer. Wow! There it is. Finally the scent! I could smell it maybe a foot away from the candle, and the scent was faint. I am going to try ordering directly from the company. But if this is truly Wax & Wit, then they must have changed their formula. Update: I contacted the company and shared with them my dilemma. I really enjoyed the original scent. It was explained to me that they did not change the formula, however, they can't control temperature and other factors at the Amazon factory. These elements can change how a candle smells. That being said, the scent is still pleasant and though not as strong as the first one I received, it's still nice. Perhaps getting a fresher batch from Amazon, but of course, there is no way to determine that.

These are nice candles and the comments on the jar are totally witty and on the mark. I handed them out last year for Xmas gifts and the recipients loved them.

Candle does its job as a novelty gift. The smell is pretty bad, BUT it's a great tabletop decoration for the Libra if you're don't plan on lighting it.
