Very reliable and worth it
Bought this feeder in 2022. Just recently the feeder’s motor finally stopped working! It’s Feb 2026! Such a good run. This is an incredibly efficient cat feeder. Here are a couple of notes to consider. 1. The spill resistance isn’t great after a year. I had to create my own latch to cover the lid after two spill incidents. 2. The portion sizes are not consistent. But not too inconsistent that I was any kind of worried about the portion itself. But with a dispensing feeder that makes sense. 3. The app is a little laggy and not very user friendly but it’s easy to figure out with some time. 4. Super easy to put together. Loved this feeder so much and I am sad to throw it away. I’m sure now that it’s 2026 there’s new and improved versions and I hope they last just as long as

Works great
I’ve been using it a little over two weeks. Sometimes I work late and wanted something that would hold storage and keep my fur baby on a schedule so I don’t have to rush home, was also an ease of mind when going out of town. I thought you could use this without batteries since it mentions dual power and could not. I figured out that no matter how close it is to the router it just won’t stay connected without batteries when you leave and it just stops connecting which was weird. Since I started using the dual power with the batteries I have no issues staying connected through the app and being able to set a schedule and the app sends a notification at a 30 second ish delay but it’s delivered the food without a problem. The portion sizes are really small but you can measure personally to see how much of the portions to give at one time which is helpful. It makes a beeping noise when it is feeding time and I think he’s learned that and goes straight for the food when it dispenses. The app also shows the level of battery left on the batteries which is holding up pretty well and I haven’t had to change them since I started using it and it’s still at a full charge. It holds a decent amount of food and I like that the stainless steel bowl is detachable to clean right away without having to take the whole thing apart, even the storage part is easily detachable on the sides. Was easy to clean and put together, instructions were easy to follow and there was even a bar code to scan that gives you the correct app which was called smart life. Overall I have no complaints and would definitely recommend.

Great for Small Animals. Don’t use the backup batteries.
I got this a few weeks ago and so far it works as intended, letting me feed your dog from pretty much anywhere. It keeps a feed log in case you’re forgetful, and hooks up quickly to echo devices. Some things to note: It said to put AA batteries in the bottom, to make sure it stays connected to your network during a power outage. Anytime I had batteries in there, I was constantly resetting it by taking the batteries out and unplugging, because it had gotten disconnected from my network (hence the four stars). I took the batteries out and no longer have this issue. But if it is ever disconnected again all I have to do is unplug it, versus take the whole thing apart and flip it upside down to get a battery out. Not to mention this was the hardest compartment I’ve ever tried to fit batteries into. It only takes small dog food (I think the manual said between 1/4” and 1/2” sized food is preferred), so don’t get this if you have a dog who eats larger foods. It stores the food in little chambers that are cycled and pour out one at a time, so you’ll need to figure out how many pours it takes to get to what you normally feed your pet and then set that as the default. There is a slight pause between each pour. There is an annoying beep that goes off by default when you use this machine, but you can mute or turn it off in the app. It is not noted well, but it is the toggle switch in the top right corner. I’ve got a small corgi and this was one of the less expensive auto feeders at the time of purchasing. I don’t know that I would buy it again, but it works well for me, for now.

Best thing for taking care of cats, when plugged in
Updated review on May 28th, 2024: No matter what brand batteries I put in, within a day it will show low battery and 2 days it will lose power but the led light blinking, then I couldn't control it anymore, moved it to patio for my feral and they were starving, I was only out of town for 3 days and the second day I lost connection due to low battery. Batteries were new, and this is the second one I bought and both of them had the same problem. Just always plugged in until last week when I need it to use battery, it failed. So 4 stars. Original review: It is easy to set it up, just download the app and then find the right device, that part is probably the hardest part. Then once it is paired, it is very easy to use, you can control it with the push button on the machine itself, you can use phone to control, and you can set schedules too. I love it. It's been 2 months since I got it and it's been working great. The storage bin on top is big enough size, I think for my cat, it takes about 20 days to empty it. So that is great. It is also quiet when disposing food, my cats were little scared at first because the food hit the pan but they got used to it the second time.

This is a great feeder, but requires a little research before purchase to ensure connectivity. This feeder works on 2.4ghz band. What I had to do was flip my wireless router upside down and found the model number and did a Google search with my router brand and model number and at the end typed "duel band". Most newer routers have both 2.4 and 5ghz band and will automatically connect to the right band. In some cases you will need to manually set this up, so if you are not tech savvy, this might not be your auto feeder. This is something I was not aware of. I have a TP link AX1800 wireless router and it does have auto dual band. Setup was very easy. You scan a QR code/ download app/ create login/ add device/ connect and then you can start programming your feeding. It is set up in military time. My wife thought it wasn't working because she thought she set it for 5pm when set to 0500 hours. 1700 is 5pm. The feeder works great. Always feeds on time and sends notification. Has not jammed once or failed to feed due to connectivity issues. I would definitely recommend this feeder.

Complete life saver for us!
This feeder is our first automatic feeder and it is a life saver for us. We just got a pair of kittens and they are hungry boys. We were running back and forth to feed them and to make sure that they don't go hungry, ever. We could not stay out for more than three hours and had to rush back home to feed the babies. Anyways this feeder is a game changer. It has ample storage for food. Very safe design which can't be tripped over easily and the food is secure out of the reach of the kittens. One of them found a way to shove his paw up to get a few pieces of dry food but it does not dispense much. Love the feature that the food can be dispensed from anywhere in the house. Have not tried from outside yet. Have made a complete feeding schedule for the kittens which dispenses food in 1 or 2 servings according to the set time, automatically. Set it once and forget as it keeps repeating the same schedule each day. You can set it as you wish. Portion sizes and times are completely customizable. What a relief. Now we can concentrate on playing with the kittens and having a good time minus the constant run to feed them. Kittens as we all know can be a handful. Can leave the house with the peace of mind that the kittens will be well fed and on time. What a great gadget. If you have a pet, must have this. Highly recommend it! Works flawlessly and keeps life very easy and the pets happy.

Great Features for the Price with Just One Small Wish
This feeder is surprisingly large for a single pet unit, and the six-liter capacity means fewer refills, which is always appreciated. The built-in camera is a huge bonus at this price point. The video quality is impressive, the viewing angle is wide, and I can clearly distinguish details even from farther away. The night vision mode works wel,l and being able to talk to my cats through the app while they are eating is both practical and adorable. The app itself is very easy to use. Scheduling feedings and checking camera access feels simple and intuitive. I also really appreciate the backup power option. Having both plug-in power and batteries gives peace of mind during outages and helps ensure the cats do not miss meals. The only suggestion I have is regarding the material and weight. The construction is not flimsy, but it is light enough that my cats can push it around even when the feeder is full. A sturdier or slightly heavier build would make this an even better product. Overall, for the features you get at this price, it is a very good value and a great option for pet owners who want remote feeding and camera monitoring in one unit.

Doesn't work with tuya smart app
Update: I'm using the feeder anyways, I activate with alexa. It works fine, is even quieter than the the first one I had, is good besides the fact that it doesn't work with the tuya smart app (at least for me), so take that in consideration before buying. Original Review: At least not for me and that's a huge deal. I read in the comments that it was indeed compatible with the tuya smart app, even the seller confirmed in replies. I have done the additional steps because I have done this process before with other devices, but is impossible. I have tried with automatic scan and by adding through Small Home Appliances -> Pet Feeder (WiFi) and nothing works. It obviously works fine with the sketchy app the brand recommends but I don't want to use that one. Kind of pissed ngl, sorry but I can't give a good rating.
