Wonderful selection of afghans to knit!

Great book! Nice and easy, yet beautiful results. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't picked up a knitting needle in years.

This paperback has great photos and a great variation of afghan designs. The patterns range from easy to intermediate with clear instructions, an easy-to-read type, and a large-sized font. I appreciate a mix of easy to moderate difficulty because sometimes I just want to zone out and have fun knitting while I watch movies. Other times, I want to knit something that challenges my skills. What is great about this book is that the designs are still beautiful, even if the pattern is easy. The only downside for me is that the order of the pictures does not match with the corresponding number of the design instructions. For example, picture 14 should correspond with design 14.

So many really nice blankets to choose from. It’s so helpful that all have the same yarn, needle size , so basically you only need to choose color. Love it.

Hab bisher 3 Decken aus dem Buch nachgearbeitet um sie Weihnachten zu verschenken. Nr. 4 und 5 sind schon in Planung. Mit doppeltem Garn und 14er Nadeln sind sie super schnell fertig, sind wahnsinnig kuschelig und sehen grandios aus. Die Anleitungen sind gut und einfach beschrieben.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves to knit afghans. The patterns are gorgeous and the instructions are easy to follow. I've made two so far and I'm looking forward to make the rest of them.

My mum is always commenting on my knitting and crocheting books so one Sunday we sat down and trawled through what was available on Amazon. I think she bought a few more than expected. Having started knitting an afghan she seems very happy with her purchases. I have looked through all the books and will hopefully be allowed to borrow some as the patterns are beautiful, I would be happy if I had purchased the books myself. I am going to copy/paste this on my other knitting books reviews as I can't really say anything further.
