Good Item
I developed an inguinal hernia whilst lifting a very heavy box of floor tiles. Went to doctors and was told to see how it goes. Anyway after a few weeks of mild discomfort it really popped out and I ended up in our local A&E and after a scan I was taken in an ambulance to the major county hospital, where I spent the night in pain with assorted drips in my arm. I was seen by a consultant and he popped it back in and said it was not an emergency and they would book me in for an routine operation and said to buy an hernia support. So bought one of these and instant relief. Holds the hernia in place and lets me get on with life whilst I wait for my operation. Fits well and is comfortable to wear all day. Lasted nearly a year of daily use before it started to wear out when the Velcro lost its grip. So simply bought another one. Worth every penny.

Fantastic product and makes a world of difference
Extremely helpful item, enables me to go about life without thinking about the hernia. It also means I can continue to exercise which is an important thing both physically and mentally. It fits well, sometimes not the most comfortable thing in the world but that's the nature of the product rather than its design. I've ordered another one due to the need to have 1 for standard wear and one for exercise. Great product.

Can’t get it fast enough……
If you’ve had unreduced hernia pain you will know it can bring tears to your eyes. After three trips to A&E the five hour wait on a trolley for the consultant was worth it when he ‘reduced’ (pushed back in) the hernia in 20 seconds flat, also with me FLAT if you’re doing it yourself. He then advised a truss until the hernia could be repaired by investigation in clinic and possible surgery. Unfortunately he just advised ‘a’ truss to the staff, not exactly which type. The truss the staff came back with was a ‘jock strap’ for a scrotal truss. Mine is inguinal and the truss was useless. Rather than have my wife drive me the 30 miles to A&E for the fourth time in as many days, I did a bit of research and came up with this one partly because of the ‘prime’ SAME DAY promised delivery. It didn’t turn up and the ‘no reply’ email address seemed to understand my curt response as it was on the doorstep this morning. Thank you Amazon system for having more sense than your creators. Perhaps AI is more common than we think. All health products should have priority delivery. Without health we cannot work. Without the wealth from work we cannot pay our taxes. Without taxes the economy goes to pot and everyone, Government included, uses stealth to avoid or gather the taxes. Health, Wealth, Stealth. A very simple but effective product that has allowed me to walk out for the first time in three weeks. Many thanks. Durability will now be part of the criteria. I’ll let you know…. One note ….the ‘instructions’ don’t match the product. If you want to change from right to left the ‘front panel’ does NOT come off; you need to slide the pouch round to the left and tighten the belt Velcro fastener somewhere over your tummy. If you are male, I would advise wearing boxer shorts with loose fitting legs so that you do not have to unfasten the belt to ‘spend a penny’. Nuff said?……

Comfortable to wear and discreet
I've been using this support for nine months whilst waiting for a repair op. It is very comfortable to wear and I can wear it with slim fit jeans and other trousers without it being noticeable. I read some reviews that the understrap velcro was a bit narrow and stopped working so well after a while, but I found that once in the right place leave it alone and just fasten at the waistband. I agree with another review that it is better to lay down when fastening so your hernia is recessed when you fasten it. Since using this support it is so much more comfortable to be active in everyday life. I wasn't sure how it would work over a day on my feet but I have been on city breaks, long country walks, practised yoga and even low impact hiit workouts without any discomfort. I have bought a second one as the elastic in the waist band does eventually stretch to a point where it doesn't tighten enough, but the first has lasted at least nine months and I would certainly recommend.

Hernia really restricted my life making me miserable until I discovered these trusses..
Does the job. £10 cheaper than the fist one I bought. Without it I could walk to the top of the street but had to hold myself coming back. Can now carry on almost as normal (Still no straining or heavy lifting) Only criticism; the edging material is harder than my other truss making it chafe when riding my bike. Otherwise it does the job. The Crouch strap, like my other truss, is too long for me so I have to wrap it around my waste band. Make sure the Velco ends are not against the skin as it chafes as well. Tip. Lay down flat for a minute to allow the henia lump to reduce before fitting the truss. It does not have to be tight. Wear the truss against the skin so it doesn't slide around. AlI normally. I hope this information is on use to anyone suffering as I did, my daily routing was severely restricted making me miserable until I discovered these trusses.

It works
I bought this for a recently diagnosed hernia and have found it to be excellent in limiting pain and increasing movement.
