I can't speak for all the rocks they sell, but the batch I got was awesome. I love banded agate, and these are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. I bought a couple palm stones at $20 each, and although smaller, these have even better banding. I can't say that they are all like the ones I'm talking about, but a few of these have banding with light brown clear stone in-between. You can actually look down into the rock in between the white bands. They're a little pricey at $20 a pound, but if they all had the look of the ones I'm talking about, I'd pay even more. They're not done tumbling yet, but I can tell that a few of these are going to be among my favorite rocks. Just a few more weeks in the tumbler, I can hardly wait!!!!! Update: I finished polishing these banded agates and they are gorgeous except for the cracks in them. I was thinking that I might have done something wrong when I was polishing them, but you can see the cracks in the pictures they show in the add. It's a shame to have these defects in such beautiful rocks. Would I buy them again? Not if I can find a source that has such beautiful rocks, but without the cracks. Yes, I did buy more. They were smaller this time, but had fewer cracks. The beauty of these stones exceeds the last batch that I was so pleased with. I don't know if they've been pre-tumbled, but they are not as rough as I expected them to be. I can see the beauty in them even before tumbling them. The banding is amazing.

Absolutely stunning. The 1 pound bag of orange calcite arrived relatively quickly. Despite Amazon just tossing the bag into a cardboard box with other items, they arrived in large pieces. Calcite is fragile, so the packaging is important. The calcite itself is very clear, almost like glass, with the golden/yellow tint you see in the photos. I was worried these would be little pieces that wouldn't work for my jewelry ideas, but these large pieces are perfect. They are rectangular/square in shape, with a thickness of about 1 to 1.5 inches, with a width of 2 or 3 inches. They have flat edges and if you needed smaller pieces, it would be quite easy to just "knock" off a little slab just with a metal chisel and no hammer. I am very happy and will likely order other minerals from the same distributor.

When I opened the package there was dust leaking everywhere. It originally got a one-star review from me but I've gone over the product carefully and it's not bad. This stuff crushes actually very very easily and I wish they had packaged it a little nicer. It was very pulverized and leaking through the bag when I got it. But when dusted off the raw chunks are rather pleasant.

Tldr on each. Tl;dr: Decent expectations, but check stock images yourself for reality. After actually checking carnelian images myself (and realizing it's basically red chalcedony with some variations in the compound sediment between quartz to volcanic sediment) I got about the size and quality I expected, save for 2 incredible pieces I want to leave displayed as they are in my recharging station, but the rest are sizes and patterns I can work with. *For the meh: There's not much protection and generally it's a gamble with chalcedony. There are probably 3-4 just basic red stones with dark patches, only 1 worth cutting into like this; as the center is clear. The others would simply be turned into pocket stones or for the office, but still usable. *Value: Decent to Good In total it's about 16 pieces ranging in sizes from chips at the top (not counted) and usable pieces for cabbing at .25"x1" with the second row being approx .5"x.5" down to a 1x2. There are 3 chips from cool pieces in the top left corner, but the chips can be used also. *Image quality: unwashed. Still cool. I photographed these unwashed, right out of the bag; but most interesting side facing up. I got what I expected, with some that are even better.

I was skeptical about ordering flourite on Amazon but I was very pleasantly surprised! I received around 7 fairly good sized pieces, all with nice deep coloring. Even multicolor and some blue which is rare! I forgot to grab a picture before I put it in the tumbler! Only complaint is it is pricey per pound.
