ReYee Mirror Glass fit for Volkswagen VW Beetle Jetta Passat Right Side

Not only is this a review of this item but also a good piece of advice for any VW owners whose mirror glass comes loose. I tried a few different glass replacements that include that plastic backing and they are all terrible. They are visibly different than the original, with fewer attachment points, so they do not fit securely. Which is where the advice comes in - if at all possible, try to re-use your original backing and buy a piece of glass only and stick them back together. Or, if possible, get some good adhesive tape and re-use the original glass. After I abandoned the idea of a new backing and bought this glass, I would say the new setup is exactly like the old one - perfect. Glass is just the right shape and size and the tape seems to have it securely stuck to the backing plate. One more thing, I noticed everything in this mirror looks a lot farther away than the drivers side, I thought it was just an inferior piece of glass but it turns out all passenger side mirrors are different than drivers side mirrors, even my old one, it is one of those things we see every day but are unaware of. Turns out that passenger side mirrors are convex, which provides a wider view, but it looks far away. Driver's side mirrors are flat, so a narrower field of view but everything looks closer. We have all learned something new today!

This mirror fits the 2011 Jetta and it's very simple to install. Worked like a charm.

I typed in my exact make and model for this mirror and it still didn’t fit right. However it has been working fine for me and was a good price. It saved me a trip to the dealer for a fraction of the cost so it still gets 4 stars. Looks pretty good in the pic I attached. But in reality it’s smaller than the frame of the mirror and has some open spots.

Quedó bien en mi carro, es un Jetta Sport 2014 2.5 automático, les paso esa información para que se guíen, porque al leer comentarios no estaba segura sí le quedaría, sin embargo ajustó perfecto. Venía con cuatro círculos de cinta doble cara, esperemos que tengan buena adherencia.

The original just fell off one day and tried this out. Fit perfectly. The only thing I did was add a few drops of silicon when I installed it...Only because some of the reviews I read said the adhesion wasn't the greatest. I cant see it coming off with the extra little silicone.

Fit perfectly, make it easy to install with provided stickers, and looks like oem one. Thanks
