The product looks very sturdy and water proof, it just came with a broken glass lens . I had the package for a couple of months before opening it. I contacted the company and even though it was out of the return window they are refunding the amount. I will be purchasing another one shortly.

These lights are well manufactured, compared to pricer fixtures, these appear to be well worth it. We were going for the appearance not the solid brass or true nautical fixture.

Agree with reviewer 'Kip': there is NO CORD just a thin (probably 18 Guage or smaller), blue and red wire. I was looking for hard wire light and ANSI standard is black & white wire. Also, the write up says it's for a 60w bulb max - nowhere on the ceramic fixture does is state what the max wattage is, or any wattage. AND there are no mounting instructions - which is odd only because the fixture fits NO kind of mounting box. Nor is there any kind of mounting hardware!!!!! very disappointed and will probably need to return. I only gave it two stars because the aesthetic look of the light was nice.
