If you've found your way to this page, I'll go ahead and assume you know what whey protein is, and why it's a good post-workout protein to put in your body. You also probably have some idea of why goat milk is generally better for you than cow milk, although I don't really know if it matters after it's been processed to extract the whey from it to make a product like this. There probably is some difference, perhaps a meaningful benefit; you may want to do your own research on that. I'm not a biochemist but I do raise dairy goats, so I am biased towards goat milk and I like to support my fellow dairy goat farmers. What I will tell you is that this product is a great goat whey powder. It has excellent product labeling, which makes me trust the company more than other brands I've looked at. I like to know what I put in my body and I prefer to buy from companies that really go out of their way to be as transparent as possible. i was already using their creatine product before I started using their protein powders, and I'm happy to be a loyal customer of their other product lines. This stuff mixes quite easily. I don't bother with a blender or fancy shaker bottle. Honestly none of that is really needed if you don't mind a few small lumps. I don't add anything to it, except water, and I mix it with a fork, which serves as a pretty good whisk in a pinch. Generally I'll put two scoops in an already-wet glass, add water about halfway full, whisk it with the fork, add a bit more water, whisk it some more, and then fill the rest of the glass and whisk it one last time. Doing that, I rarely have any of the protein powder sticking to the glass, and it is mostly liquefied with just a few of those lumps floating on top, which don't bother me at all while I gulp it down. The taste of the unflavored version that I use is mild but pleasant, and I always look forward to drinking it. It has become a rather enjoyable part of my post-workout routine: a little treat as my reward for hard work in the home gym. Sometimes I'll have two servings, even though I'm pretty sure I'm getting all the benefit I need from one serving. It's just because I like it. If there is any additional benefit, it's likely small, but everybody needs to get a certain amount of calories and protein every day anyway, any excess that doesn't help with muscle protein synthesis will just get used by the body in other ways. And the extra hydration can't hurt either. I'm running low on my current jar, so I picked up another jar of this. I figured I'd leave a review while I'm here since obviously I liked it enough to buy it again. Until or unless I find something better, this will be my go-to whey powder. It's a bulk product so each jar lasts a while. Good luck with your fitness goals!

It tastes like regular goat whey πwhich is different than π cow whey. The powder is super fine so very easy to blend. If I had to nitpick on anything it would be the packaging. Because the powder is so fine, it never really settles completely at the bottom. The powder gets stuck on the sides of the plastic container, and as you're scooping out the powder, it gets all over your hands and arms. By the time there's only a little bit left in the container, I kind of dread having to scoop out the bottom. Yes, I shake and slam the bottle to get most of the powder to sit out the floor of the container π« π I still would give it five stars because the quality is very good. A dream would be for them to change the type of packaging, a plus would be also something that is biodegradable, or made out of paper/cardboard.

I loved this, but I like goat milk. If you want a whey protein with no sugar, no chemicals to stop clumping, this is a great product. Get a milk frother to mix it, (I didn't try a shaker). If you just stir with a spoon, it will clump. It tastes really good if you like goat milk. After frothing, let the air bubbles settle to prevent burping. So few single ingredient products on the market. This is a GREAT option. Goat milk is an acquired taste, but it definitely grows on you if you give it a chance. Remember, this has no added sugar or artificial sweeteners, so don't expect it to be overly sweet. It is a simple flavor, but pleasant. so happy to have found this.
