I bought furniture on Amazon that required this piece, but it did not come with part of it. These were a little bit bigger than I expected them to be, but we made them work by drawing larger holes in the furniture.

If you have a suitable doweling jig, this kind of fasteners works wonders. I bought some melamine boards at home depot, cut them, drilled a few holes and now I have a great shelving unit in my closet! These connectors are the cheapest I found and they work just fine.

If you only need to put one bookshelf together, there’s way too many. However you may need all the extra ones to figure out by trial and error what the dimensions need to be for all the holes and distances
