This is a repeat purchase and a must have for anyone looking to tone down warm red and orange tones in hair. I have dyed hair and everytime after a few washes the warmth comes back but this is brilliant at toning it and making it look and feel like ive been the hairdressers. It really helps and leaves hair feeling super soft and healthy and you get quite a few applications out of the bottle. Gloves are needed. Love it and is on my repeat purchase list. Its on offer on here sometimes so even better. I leave it on longer than it states too for my stubborn hair. Best toner ive used and ive gone through them all!

I was supposed to take a ‘before’ picture - then I forgot, I was so so upset about my pale orange hair. And I do mean it was orange! I dried my hair slightly after washing and then applied. I left it on for 30/40 minutes. It didn’t dry it out and I have very very fine baby hair. In fact it seemed to have conditioned it. The result was brilliant. Not a great colour obviously - I need to get my hair lightened by someone who knows what they are doing! But my hair didn’t and doesn’t look orange, more of a medium ash blonde. If I pluck up the courage to get my hair colour out right, I will have to wash my hair until all of this toner is out and I will then leave photos. Please do note, this is for ORANGE shading, NOT BRASSY. It’s Blue for orange tones. It’s Purple for brassy tones. I will add this isn’t 100% blue. I would call the colour a blue/dark purple. It does the job though.

Given how expensive this product is, I was expecting it to be a miracle worker and give me delightful ash blonde locks! It has definitely removed the yellow tones giving a slightly softer look, but not hugely noticeable. It was expensive, but I figured cheaper than going to the salon to get it toned, I used a third of a bottle (maybe I didn't use enough and that's why there's not a huge difference? See third pic) Regardless, I'm pleased, it smells lovely and my hair doesn't feel damaged. Will buy again for sure!

This product did exactly what I wanted remove the brassiness from my hair, it's fantastic stuff and smells lovely left my hair feeling soft too. Left it on for 20 mins due to how orange and brassey my hair was, really pleased with the results.

this was one of my more expensive mistakes. I thought for the price of £29+ it would work so much better than the cheaper ones I have tried. At almost 2 or 3 times more expensive it gave the same results = PURPLE HAIR. The product details promised it would not leave a purple colour but would turn the yellow-blonde a lovely silvery colour WRONG! PURPLE, PURPLE, PURPLE, nothing but purple. 'spose its better than yellow but I am not happy!

Great product for blonde hair, helps to get rid of yellow tones & leaves hair soft & in good condition unlike some other products!

Had a hair dye accident and came out too brassy. This soon sorted it out, making my hair much cooler toned.

Hair feels lovely after using this product, however not a big difference, maybe needed to wait a bit longer (I followed instructions) Added second pic, left on about 15 min, definitely worth.

Ich bin gerade dabei, meine Haare mit Strähnen heller zu bekommen. Leider habe ich viel Rotpigment, was mir gar nicht gefällt. Dieses Produkt macht den Rot/ Gelbstich aschig- ich hatte mir nicht so ein gutes Ergebnis erwartet! Außerdem wirkt es pflegend, und trocknet die Haare nicht aus.

I love this! Ive always preferred a blue toner rather than purple. Purple is too ashen for me. I used to add a blue cream to my conditioner to keep my blonde from getting brassy between appointments but they seem to have discontinued the product. This is the only thing I've tried that has been a good replacement! So so happy

I love Pureology products seemed like a no brainer to try this one- works great! Grew out my hair- much of it silver. Using it every month or so keeps it silver without yellow tinge!!

I got the Pureology Color Fanatic Top Coat + Tone for blondes for my daughter to try...we were both very excited to see if it works like it claims! The product itself is purple and kinda runny...thankfully, the bottle is designed with a helpful tip that doesn’t allow the product to spill out and makes it easier to apply to the hair. My daughter applied the product according to directions, first shampoo and rinse, then wring out the excess water, apply the Pureology Color Fanatic Top Coat + Tone, comb it through the hair, leave it for about 5 minutes, rinse and you are done. You can use conditioner after you’ve rinsed out the treatment if you feel you need it, but my daughter didn’t because she felt her hair was conditioned enough from the treatment. We were pretty pleased with the results! I should tell you that the results will be subtle...this isn’t a dye or a toner...it’s just going to help tone down the brassiness or yellow in your blonde hair, so don’t expect your hair to look radically different. We found the results in my daughter’s hair to be noticeable, giving her hair an icier blonde and incredible shine and it was silky soft to the touch...she was very happy with it! Now, this product is pricey and a bottle of it won’t last long, but consider that, if you had to go to the salon to fix up your blonde in between dye jobs, that’s going to be a whole heckuva lot pricier, so taking that into consideration, the price isn’t so bad. My daughter and I very enthusiastically recommend Pureology Color Fanatic Top Coat + Tone for blondes!
