Sturdy and Adjustable Length for Travel
I liked it was sturdy with an adjustable length and TSA approved. We bought it for a 70-year-old handmade wood fishing pole made by the grandfather of a family member visiting from Japan. She was taking it home and we needed a case to fit it as it was a long pole even broken down. It protected the pole during the trip and worked as advertised. A good buy.

very adjustable, we got it to hold 6 rods including 2 surf rods
well built product, very adjustable, has provision for travel lock, well designed, durable, lightweight, no complaints. One tip, if you are packing a large number of rods, best to pre-nest them then slide the bundle in so the guides do not interfere with each other going in one at a time.

Great rod case!!!
We used this on a trip down to Baja and it worked out great! I was able to load 10 rods in this thing. The longest being 8'6 (this is probably the longest I'd try to stretch it). We used ratchet compression straps to strap it to the top of a Rav4 and it worked perfectly. Granted, the compression straps cause the case to have little 'indents' where the pressure was... I was scared these would be permanent indentations but after a few hours it was back to normal again. And this was driving through 85+ degree weather in Baja! So the case appears to be pretty durable. I'm glad I picked it up. I plan to store a majority of my rods in it during the off season in my garage. It'll help save on space as well :) Great product! Note: if you're strapping this down, watch out for the handles. I would highly recommend securing this thing by the main body and not by the handles - we noticed they were starting to warp due to pressure... they have the potential to bust. Also, there's a little hole to secure the latch door with a lock. If you're strapping this down to the roof of a car or checking it in on a plane, I'd advise getting a small lock so that the latch won't easily open. If for an airplane, make sure it's a TSA approved lock.

they were pretty secure in the rod case
Very solid. My last case was crushed by Southwest Airlines. Interestingly, I just took my first trip with the Bazuka. I took four rods and wrapped each one in a sheath. they were pretty secure in the rod case. Was shocked that one of my rods broke in the Bazuka case! The case, on the other hand didn't have a mark on it! I fault the airline for the damage. I can't imagine the amount of force required to break my rod in this case. They must have chucked it off of the airplane. Overall, I am very satisfied with the case. Next time, I am going to wrap my rods in a thin foam pad inside the Bazooka to see if I can keep them from breaking.

Good durable choice for transporting fishing rods
I used to work with baggage handlers and i saw this fall off the baggage belt and it didn't look like it had even fallen and purchased this one right after. Used this to transport my fishing rods with me while flying and it’s kept them well protected.

Very sturdy and flexible rod carrier.
This very sturdy rod carrier will get your rods anywhere in the world safely. It will have to go through the oversized counter at the airport and get a lot of puzzled looks from other travellers who wonder why you're packing a bazooka around. It is well made and virtually indestructible. It can expand in length to accomodate most saltwater and freshwater rods. I had 4 salmon rods in it recently.

Just get this.
If you're considering building something like this out of PVC, just don't. It won't be cheaper. Trust me I know. This carried 4 fishing rods safely thru 4 different airports/airlines and not as big and obnoxious looking as the plano one.
