Sleek, Functional, and Refreshing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m officially done with the cost and waste of bottled water. This Brita Metro pitcher is exactly what I was looking for. The black finish looks high-end on the counter, and the 6-cup capacity is the ideal size—it’s light enough to pour comfortably with one hand while still holding plenty of water. What stands out: Modern Aesthetic: It has a very clean, minimalist look that doesn't clutter up the space. BritaPlus Performance: You can really taste the difference. The water is incredibly refreshing and clean, with zero chlorine smell or metallic aftertaste. Smart Design: The locking lid is a game-changer (no more accidental spills while pouring), and the electronic filter indicator takes the guesswork out of maintenance. It’s a simple, affordable upgrade that looks great and pays for itself in a few weeks. If you want better-tasting water without a bulky eyesore, this is the one.

Pitcher AND Filter is A+!
I've had this pitcher for 9 months now & it still works wonderfully! The Brita filter lasted 7-8 months for one person using average 1 & 1/2 a day (I know, I should be drinking more). The color indicator never seemed to turn yellow, but the green seemed to flash slower, then one day it was flashing red - and there was a difference in taste. So maybe be ready with another filter instead of waiting to buy one until you see the yellow. I did buy a knockoff brand filter replacement & there's enough of a difference in taste (& most likely longevity) that I am DEFINITELY staying with the BRITA brand filter from now on. FYI - the Brita filter did need to be 'burped' about 3 times toward the beginning (water was not percolating through, so I just ran my finger across the top of the filter to get it going) - & now that I've had the lower quality knockoff that has not needed burping, I consider that a GOOD quality instead of bad. Also, I'm glad I waited this long to give a review because in the beginning, I was wondering how the plastic was going to hold up & it has! The hard plastic 'felt' like it would be more brittle, so I tried to be careful not to bang it pulling it out of the fridge etc. But it HAS happened enough times & I've inspected it, for me to realize that it's durable! I also noticed that it's AIRTIGHT - not sure if that's the word for it - but it never produced any little mold spots INSIDE the pitcher! When I did see one or two, they formed at the very top edge where tap water droplets strayed while filling it. When I noticed that, I learned from my lesson & made sure to have the pitcher open & ready to be filled directly instead of allowing any stray water droplets to happen. As per instructions, I also don't leave the flip top open while it's percolating. I close it then open again to fill to fill line (the little protrusion) a 2nd time. I've also noticed to be careful not to touch the pour spout on anything since tiny mold spots can occur there. Otherwise, I've left it in the fridge without the need to clean it out (no signs or smells of bacteria inside) all those months. There is ONE thing that I would like for them to change in the design, but it's not bad enough to take off a star. The flip top, although it opens easily, also CLOSES too easily. I flip it with my thumb while holding the handle, but then when I barely move my thumb it hits it closed again. I hate when that happens because then the tap water splashes across the top between the pitcher & filter top or the spout to potentially produce tiny mold spots. I have to constantly remind myself to be careful flipping the top & totally take my hands away & have the tap placed squarely over the open area before turning on the water. There's enough room between faucet & pitcher that I can flip it closed again right away for it to percolate. I LOVE that the percolating process doesn't take too long either! Although it does percolate faster with the knockoff filter - another sign the knockoff doesn't work as well.

Daily use
I’ve been using the Brita Water Purifier for a while now, and it has made a noticeable difference in the taste and quality of our drinking water. The filter effectively reduces chlorine taste, odor, and other impurities, making the water fresher and cleaner.

I like it but...
I like that it's not too tall or bulky. its slim design can easily fit in the refrigerator. I noticed the top doesn't perfectly align and the pitcher only fills so high. It really doesn't go higher than the round base of the filter. The kit came with one filter so that was nice. I like that this version of the Brita filter pitcher includes a smartlight filter change indicator. Unfortunately, everytime you empty water, even if it's a small amount to pour into a glass it counts that towards the filter replacement counter. For example, if you pour the entire pitcher out or if you pour only a small amount into a glass, they both seem to count the same. We've used it for about a month and a half. The light indicator started blinking yellow last week, indicating it's almost time to replace the filter. I'm guessing we'll get about two months out of it and need to replace the filter. If that's true, it's about a new filter every two months which equals about six filters a year. It's definitely an investment. Going forward I might have purchased a larger pitcher instead of this slim one but the slim one doesn't take up a lot of space. So it really depends on what your personal needs are regarding filtered water. It says it can't take water hotter than 85 degrees, so if I boil water I usually let it cool down first, below 85 and then pour it into the pitcher to get really pure water. This is my personal experience, might not be for everyone. Depends on where you live and what what is like in your state or country. Note, it doesn't say it eliminates bacteria or other waterborne pathogens like E. Coli. It says it cuts the taste and odor of chlorine, reduces copper, cadium, and mercury impurities. Overall it's a good product.

Perfect size
Worth the money and very durable. The water actually taste different. I believe it has a perfect size not too small not too big.

Great water filter!!
I originally got this as a gift but I also ended up purchasing one for myself so I figured I'd give a review to help those out there. I love this filter! It works great, really makes me feel good about drinking water. Each filter lasts quite a while, and it's super easy to change out once the filter is done. It's easy to clean, it's easy to use, it's durable, and holds quite a bit of water despite being small enough for it to be easy to store. 10/10!

Perfect Counter-Top Pitcher
I purchased Brita Elite water filters without realizing they didn’t fit my current pitcher. After a bit of research I found this small, attractive Brita Elite pitcher, perfectly sized for the refrigerator or counter-top. It filters the tap water much more quickly than our previous pitcher/filter, and the Elite even filters 99% of lead. Best of all, the filter needs replacing only every six months. Highly recommend!

Quality used to be better, no user manual
Used to have a similar one years ago. I haven't had a need for one of these in a very long time, until now. I bought this because it was similar in size to what I used to have. The quality of the jar is nowhere near what it used to be. This jar will end up breaking or cracking easily, especially if kept in a fridge and then faces an abrupt change in temperature and bangs against something. I can see it cracking easily that way, if not breaking entirely. The filter does not stop completely all the water from dripping in between the filter rim and the hole in the filter holder. I pushed down, turned it, did everything I could. I eventually got it to indy drip a drop here and there in opposite to the little "stream" that was coming down at some point. But I shouldn't have had to experiment until finding a suitable position that would almost completely stop dripping and catching most of not all the water for filtration. What's the point of a filter if it's going to allow some of the water to avoid and evade the filter? There was no majul included with it. Just four drawings on the box itself, on an inside lip. Absolutely no explanations on how to open it to remove the filter from inside the first time or it's housing for cleaning. I had to experiment until I finally figured it out. That's why I'm including a short video showing how to remove the lid. And it was not easy to pop it out. I kept thinking about my elderly parent who has arthritic hands. Good luck opening this thing if that's also your case. The top also seems to be a bit heavy for the jar. It may top if knocked. I do taste a different taste in the water, for the better, actually. So that's good, I guess, even if part of the water manages to completely evade the filter. Overall, not happy with it. I'm glad I bought it with a huge discount during the sales ahead of Black Friday. I actually wanted a filter for the faucet itself as we don't have enough counter space in our kitchen and we don't like to drink cold water from the fridge. Now we have yet one more thing on our not big countertop to maneuver around, which I was trying to avoid, and it did not meet our expectations, especially when I had had a great experience with Britta in the past. Would I recommend it? Not really, unless you're desperate for a filtering system that won't break your wallet and you can live with the dripping water outside the filter and a fidgety lid and you can buy at a discount price. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of fewer because once I get the filter to not drip that much, it works. But it's not what Britta products used to be.
