I'm trying to find the right size for a male. Which size would be most compatible to a 9 1/2 male street shoe size?

I normally wear a size 7.5 women's but needed an 8.5 in this shoe. Women-to-Men shoe conversion is 1.5 to 2 sizes larger, so a men's 9.5 would be 11. Since these shoes run small, you might need a 12.
