Leviton 692-I 15-Amp 125-volt Triple Cube Grounding Adapter, Ivory

I have used this cube and have had no problems - it is working as expected. I was hoping it would be a bit smaller, but it is working out ok in the spot that I got this for.

We've been using these for decades. They are durable and reliable. The nice thing is how you can stack them to essentially make an arbitrarily large outlet strip, and they hold together well.

Yes, they cost a little more, but these are the real deal. Heavy 15A capacity and extremely durable. Highly recommend.

Perfect size to fit between larger plugs on a power strip or UPS battery system, top quality as you would expect from leviton. Very happy with purchase

I've been looking for ways to expand my outlets in my house. For example, in one of my bedrooms, I have 2 lamps (one on each nightstand) and an alarm clock but only 1 wall outlet (that has 2 plugs). The problem? One of my devices are going to be without power. Rather than spending money unnecessarily on a power strip (and waste the other outlets), I was looking for a good outlet expander.I ended up buying this Leviton as well as this one from Amazon:  GE 54203 Heavy Duty 3-Grounded Outlet Adapter, Ivory . Despite being 58 cents (as of 9/11) more expensive than the GE Heavy Duty adapter, I wanted to buy this one because of the compact size and to see how it would compare. I decided to keep both. It's also important to note there is a GE equivalent of this item  GE 58368 3-Grounded Outlet Adapter, White  but at the time of this review, it was 89 cents more expensive.What I particularly like about this Leviton is that it is compact and light. This is extremely helpful in traveling. Imagine situations where ports are limited (AKA airports, Starbucks, etc) where you might need a connection for both your phone and laptop).The outlets are positioned in a way where there is an outlet on each "face" of the cube (except the top & bottom). While strange, this is makes it ideal to successfully connect 2 or more devices with "wide" plugs without rendering an adjacent plug unusable. In traditional outlet expanders like  GE 54203 Heavy Duty 3-Grounded Outlet Adapter, Ivory , a wide plug (such as an AC adapter, an iPad adapter, etc) would cover up one of the adjacent outlets. This is where this Leviton is a better alternative.Construction-wise, this thing is made of hard/rigid plastic. While not the sturdiest, it's relatively good quality and the name Leviton is a well known brand in the electrical world.As for plugs, this is a 3-prong to 3-way, 3-prong expander. If you're looking for a 2-prong adapter, this is NOT it. This will not fit older power outlets with only 2 prongs.I recommend this product!

We have several of these at our house, and find them very compact and handy when we need extra, reliable outlets. It's reassuring to know that they are UL listed and made by Leviton, a company I trust to make safe and reliable electric products. (I wish this were imprinted on the plugs themselves, which otherwise look like knockoffs.) Highly recommended.

This item was the perfect simple and inexpensive solution to provide an outlet rotated 90 degrees where my electrical outlet box is installed horizontally. If plugged into a vertical outlet with it's wider blade on the left and the round pin below, all 3 plugs will be rotated clockwise on their sides with the round grounding pin to the left and the wider blade above the narrower. On the left side of the cube, the round pin will be close to the wall, as many reviewers have noted. I will only be using the receptacle on the front of the cube, so it's still 5 stars for my application.

Just as advertised. I feel the case/housing could be a litlle thicker/sturdier, but overall its a quality 3 way

Got the item and it doesn't fit the plug well. I tried to return and it came back as "item un-returnable! Why not?There's nothing on product page, item isn't hazardous and it's not in the category of products not eligible to return. customer service - to their credit - solved the issue but now I'm no longer sure what can be returned and what can't 😡

This issue? I had a single outlet and I needed to connect two lamps and a subwoofer. Additionally, one of the outlets was a switched outlet, so I couldn't use a standard wall power tap.Plus, one of my lamps is connected to a smart plug.Sorting out how to plug in the cables and smart plug was giving me headaches until I stumbled upon this plug. This solves all my problems. Additionally, the position of the plugs allows me to plug in my smart plug without interfering with another outlet. This plug also allows me to use the switched outlet, with a lamp plugged in, like a real light switch.Not only did I connect the two lamps, subwoofer and smart plug, I still have a plug available for whatever I need.

I guess I am getting old but I expected to find this item for much less $. In any event, it is what I needed, it seems solid and, is doing what I wanted so the price doesn't matter any more.

I like it because when you're using all 3 electric plugs, each one is facing a different direction. Electric cords don't get tangled up. Great for kitchen & office when plugging multiple appliances or hardware.

Much better than no-name knock offs. Could drive a truck over it.
