It's my own fault for not checking the dimensions before ordering. I thought the books would be normal sized like 6 by 10 but they are smaller volumes 4.25 by 6.75. Nothing wrong with that but remember to check all aspects before you order.

These three books are well worth the time — provided you enjoy the topic. There are some good lessons included in each book. Good quality binding and container.

Very nice books with interesting teachings! Superb visual presentation with lots of images and very pleasant feeling of holding something valuable due to the gilded edges. They are pocket-sized which is good in terms of transportation but it can be a little harder to handle with bigger hands like mine (second image). Nevertheless, very nice set and i would recommend it to all who are interested in japanese history, tactics, kenjutsu and also in Chinese warfare tactics
