I tend to abstain from writing overly negative reviews in an effort to be as unbiased as possible. In this case, a few strong words are necessary. While it's an appealing price, it's not quite worth it unless you're in the most dire of circumstances.I was at the tail end of a smoke session with the new hookah and liking it. I spent a decent amount of time writing up a fairly positive review to guide other potential buyers. Suddenly, the hookah came crashing down to the ground, shattering to pieces.While this obviously could have been prevented (and I accept that it was my own negligence that led to it breaking), it is worth noting that there are flaws in this pipe that make accidents like this way too easy to encounter. I am usually responsible when using my hookah gear so this was quite a surprise.The size of the hookah itself seems to be the main contributer. It's incredibly small and light. A very light tug of the hose (which is quite short by most standards) sends the entire contraption sliding off in that direction. Even slight movement in any direction would cause the hookah to tilt and twirl. It's not as stable as a hookah should be; it has burning coals on top and dirty water on bottom, afterall.If you buy this, be well aware of the attention that you must give it (and all hookahs, for that matter). It's only a trip or nudge away from potentially dangerous or damaging consequences. I've used other hookahs before (costing between $30 and $150) and none have been this prone to movement. If you are careful, this is a fine piece to consider. If you tend to get lost in conversation or have multiple people smoking, please look elsewhere. You need to be quite attentive when using this hookah. I don't want this to come off as fear mongering but these issues should be considered.All of that aside, it's actually a decent piece. It does benefit from some tweaking to perform at its best level. I put damp paper towels around all of the usual air leaks to keep things tight. The bowl was rather wobbly until I added the towel, which helped. The coal tray is also laughably small so forming a ring of foil around it has helped with the mess from the ash a bit. I wouldn't want to use this indoors without getting a bigger tray and a very stable and secure place for it to rest. Since I primarily smoke on my patio, it's not a huge issue.It smokes well for its size and price. Getting it up and running was simple. I was getting nice, flavorful clouds not long after putting the coals on. The slight air leaks were, for the most part, addressed with the damp towels and it worked much better than expected for the price. As far as smoke quality goes, it doesn't stand out as being any worse than the other cheap hookahs I've used.It's not that bad of a hookah. It's cheap and small, making it suitable for travel use if needed. If you give it the attention it needs and have realistic expectations about its build quality and durability, you probably won't be disappointed.I want to give it more than a 2 star rating but I also don't feel like 3 is being fair. It's great for what it is: a very affordable hookah that does what it says. On the other hand, it doesn't compete with the budget offerings from names like Mya. The stability alone is worth the extra money. They'll cost a few times as much as this but you get a better hookah that isn't as prone to shifting from slight nudges and doesn't need wet paper towels to keep things tight. The construction will also likely be better. The extra peace of mind is a fantastic feeling.If you're just getting into hookah, I strongly recommend stepping up to the Econo Mya stuff. It's a bit more of an investment but it'll pay off in the end. I'd hate for the flaws of this hookah to turn newcomers away from a relaxing hobby like hookah smoking. If you must stay in this price range, please be careful about where you put this and how many people/pets are around.I hope I didn't seem too hard on the hookah. I realize that I am to blame for my base breaking but I still feel it needs to be noted. I've never even come close to this happening with any of my other hookahs and there have been times when a dozen people were passing the hoses around in party situations. If a dozen drunk people don't break an Econo Mya but one sober person shatters this, there must be at least some part of the hookah that's flawed.Long story short: be careful, responsible, and enjoy yourself and whatever hookah you end up with.

I was sent the wrong color still works great

I see a lot of complaints on this Hookah, and maybe my review is going to be different from everyone else. I have no background knowledge of Hookahs or what is needed to use one. I have used a Hookah before at a few coffee shops, but really never owned my own, or wanted to purchase one to smoke from. I purchased this item, because I recently redecorated my room. My room is now a buddha, moroccan, bohemian empire. I wanted a few decorations from a bunch of different culture. I wanted to get a hookah to put on my table of trinkets.I received the item very quickly (Amazon Prime), it was packaged up very nice, and it was basically breakproof in the box. My hookah came in perfect condition.My only issues are this: it states online the color is randomly picked. You should be able to pick the color of your liking, and have it shipped. 2. The colors are listed as Available in 6 colors: Green, Red, Blue, Pink, White, and Black. All of them have a matching top, to the bottom. I received a yellow (which is not even a color option) and a brown top.The tube seemed kinda flimsy, but again I am not using it to smoke. It is just a decoration for me. Overall, okay product.

This is a nice upgrade from what I had before. I like how big it is, and yet for those of you who need to keep it hidden, it breaks down into easily concielable parts. I love having a hookah with an actual hose to smoke out of, and I like the fact that this hookah has another place where a hose could be attached, although of course it doesn't come with another hose, or a spare rubber garment. This hookah smokes very smoothly which is nice, and you get a bunch of choices of base shape and color which I appreciate a lot. The only drawback to this is that it seems to be made of really cheap materials, and it doesn't come with any brass screens which are desperately needed. It's also really hard to assemble when you first get it. I guess you get what you pay for, and this is really reasonably priced, but if mine were to break today, I probably wouldn't buy this product again unless I was broke, in which case it is a pretty good hookah.
