I love this veggie and fruit peeler. I had to peal and cut all the apples from my tree this year and usually it takes days but this peeler cut my time down to hours. My daughter quickly learned to use it and she peeled while I cleaned them up and cut them. It does leave some peel on the top and bottom that needs to be cleaned up and around any bruises or odd spots but still was quicker than peeling myself. I also tried spiralizing some apple after it was peeled and it didn’t work perfectly but I got some that I was able to fry up quickly with cinnamon and sugar for a tasty snack. I also used it to peel sweet potatoes for dinner and it worked pretty good. Only problem was that they were old so the outer peels got a little papery and ended up clogging up the blade. But it was easy to pop apart and clean quickly. I washed the base spikes regularly so the sticky juice didn’t build up and make it harder to clean later. It’s very lightweight and I wonder how long it will last but I’m loving it right now, especially for the reasonable cost.

I love this! It is a kitchen toy that really gets some use and works! Works well, is fun to use, and replaces a hated job...peeling potatoes. i don't recommend using on other fruits/vegetables, as least what I have tried, but for potatoes, this is great!

This product isn't the toughest piece of kitchen equipment you will ever own, but it sure is one of the handiest. I have always hated peeling potatoes, and then I started having bad arthritis pain in my hands and wrists and could barely get one peeled in ten minutes. I ordered this, not really expecting it to work that well. I was shocked at how easily I was able to get the potatoes on it and the speed at which the potatoes were peeled. I absolutely love it.

LOVE IT! It feels so fast leaving Susie q potatoe skins and they are so good airfried. If u or loved one have arthritic hands this is the ticket guys. Also love that u can Litteraly use Every part of potatoe. I truly use it all the time. Great purchase.

First and foremost, I asked them if the silver parts are metal, and I was lied to and told it was - the entire thing is plastic. The only metal thing is part of the blade. As far as how it works, I didn't try this one out, but I tried their "newer" version which is essentially the same. So, I will paste that review below: I am all about kitchen gadgets and trying to find anything that would save me time. But this is not one of them. I tried some sweet potatoes, had to cut them in half in order to get them to fit in the small space, and then it wasn't the shape that caused a problem, it was the fact that the skin kept getting stuck in the blade rendering it useless every single time. Best case scenario you'll have to do some manual peeling, but at that point are you really saving any time? If it worked without the skin constantly getting stuck (if it got stuck with the sweet potato I imagine it's going to get stuck with pretty much anything) It again, wouldn't save you any time because it's not perfect and you're still going to have to peel. It in fact, ends up taking more time because you have to constantly babysit it and then you're still going to have to peel afterwards. I'll admit it's pretty cool to watch it work and the end result one big piece of peel if it works, but it's not something that you can just have running while you're doing other things and save time. It also cuts off far more than regular peeling would resulting in waste, when it works. It was basically skipping between getting a little piece of skin stuck in it and then maybe it would work it out and then immediately start gouging into the potato and peeling far too much, and repeat. I like the idea, but I just can't justify it taking up space in the kitchen or spending extra time to use it for the cool Factor.

I was inspired to make an apple pie to sooth my troubled soul. I knew I had an apple peeler from years ago and after a brief hunt found it. It was one of those cast potmetal contraptions that is a design reminiscent of a cross between Rube Goldberg and Eli Lilly, probably from the 1910's. I clamped it to my counter and inserted an apple. It immediately pushed in the center and quit turning. I thought there had to be a more modern, efficient method of peeling apples in the 21st century, and this little beauty is it! I inserted the batteries, put an apple on the forked bottom and started peeling. It peeled 10 apples in under 10 minutes and with a little hand peeling at the top and bottom, and plunging my corer I was ready to bake. Easy peasy most certainly Chinesey. I highly recommend .

This things is awesome! At first, out of the box I thought it was pretty flimsy , but it worked awesome for peeling all the apples we harvested for canning. Made the process way faster. Worked well for potatoes too, but the skin had a tendency to get stuck more often in the blade. Still awesome though!

it works just fine. The wire could burn out. Check the power numbers. I burned my wire, but it works with battery.

I bought my first rotato peeler on Amazon.com and had it shipped over as I hate peeling potatoes. It is now available on Amazon.co.uk and I bought another for my sister. It is brilliant, easy to use and does the job in half the time. Notc restricted to potatoes, you can feel fruit too. Clean, un messy and then easy to keep clean. Comes with several more blades which I think extends the product life to a good twenty years.
