Coffee Storage Canister (Medium Size 500g capacity for coffee beans)
I bought this to store my coffee beans, reduce staling and give me a larger capacity than my Fellow Atmos does. It is easier to use than the Atmos (unless yo have the one with the electric lid) and has an excellent seal on the inner lid and also comes with a top outer lid. It feels well made and has a rubber bottom which is helpful. This size suits me but they also do a 1kg canister as well, but that is huge. This design works on displacing air from the canister by pressing down on the inner lid rather than evacuating air from the canister via a vacuum pump like the Atmos does. However both methods probably do an equably good job at keeping air out. If you wish to store ground coffee (I don't) then this is also a better bet as the grounds shouldn't clog the mechanism like they would in the Atmos.

Definitely the most attractive coffee canister on the market, but…
I should start off by saying that I do love my Airscape, and that it’s the best coffee canister I’ve owned in terms of form and (arguably) function. But at this price point, my expectations are HIGH and I think this doesn’t quite meet them. To start off with, the vacuum mechanism is pretty neat and fun to use. There are essentially two lids: the vacuum lid gets pushed down on top of the contents to squeeze the air out and keep things fresh. (You can see what that looks like in my second photo.) The second lid is the more decorative, visible one and it has a sleek look with a rubber seal. Together, they keep the coffee very fresh and it’s a more innovative, cleaner look than the usual clip-style lid. The body of the canister is high quality stainless steel - I chose a matte finish and I think it looks really beautiful. So far, so good. The two things that have been niggling me about the Airscape is 1) I realised after a couple of weeks of use that my kid isn’t perfectly cantered, with the lip on one side sticking out further than the other, and 2) I use mine to store freshly ground coffee that I get delivered once a week, and the grounds go EVERYWHERE. It’s impossible to avoid when pulling out the inner vacuum lid - if I’m very careful, a small puff of coffee ground will hit the counter and sometimes my clothes. If I’m not careful (bearing in mind, I’m usually doing this before I’ve been properly caffeinated for the day!) a cloud of coffee grounds will cover the counter, my clothes, the floor, my cat… anything within a two foot radius. I think this is inherent to the design, and as such the Airscape likely works better with coffee beans than ground coffee. I had hoped to avoid grinding my own beans by setting up a weekly delivery from a quality roaster and using the Airscape, but now I’m contemplating buying a grinder and doing it myself. I guess it speaks to the fact that I really do like the Airscape quite a bit that I haven’t decided to just replace it with something like the Coffee Gator (where the design doesn’t create quite so much mess) - that would certainly be cheaper than buying a decent grinder! But I’m a sucker for an aesthetic bit of kit, and the Airscape has that in spades.

Good value coffee canister
This is an expensive solution for storing coffee beans or pre ground coffee, but absolutely value for money. The airscape is a premium product that does what it says on the tin. The canister looks fantastic and is value for money. Keeps the beans fresh for a number of weeks. Previously purchased a lower priced canister solution and was not impressed so was hesitant to pay £30. Glad I did. Really happy with purchase. The only negative is that the outer paint scratches easily.

Pricey but definitely the best of its type
Sometimes it makes sense to pay a bit extra in order to get the quality, and this is one of those times. The standard of manufacture is faultless, the ease of operation perfect, and the seal it offers definitely airtight. I'm also glad that they don't go down the route of using the word vacuum when it's nothing of the sort when so many air! This is an air displacement storage container, just what you need for storing half that 1kg bag of beans you just bought, while you use the other half in a real vacuum container until it needs refilling from here. Ideal combination for the job if you want your coffee in tip-top condition for weeks.

Nice Quality and visually appeasing
Okay so it is expensive but it’s good quality and works well. A really nice addition to my kitchen. Would consider buying some of the cheaper versions for inside the cupboards to keep dry products fresher for linger

Believe the hype
A novices opinion... Bought my first proper espresso machine a few weeks ago and did notice the degradation in taste from the first espresso from a fresh bag to the last of the bag (storing the beans in the grinder hopper). Thought I'd upgrade to a single dose hopper so needed something to keep the beans in. Looked at a few options, the cheap option of freezing beans seemed too much of a faff, as did the hassle of the vacuum bean jars, but a week in im pretty happy with the Airscape. Looks good, takes seconds to open and reseal and beans are so much fresher even after a few days. Just ordered my 2nd one

I've been using this for a few months now. It does a great job keeping beans fresh and it's very easy to use. The mechanism for opening and closing the cannister is robust and works seamlessly. The color is eye catching and a fun addition to the countertop. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an attractive and effective place to safely store your beans.

Just bought three Airscape canisters to hold coffee beans and powdered products. Works like a charm, in particular with keeping the beans fresh. You just need to be careful with very fine powders (e.g. milk) when you press down as it will raise a fine cloud back as the air is extracted.
