I bought this product to replace the cracked screen on my old iPhone 7 Plus to give to my girlfriend. This is my first time to do this. The screen arrived securely packaged and everything I would need was there. The instructions were very detailed and the accessories were perfect down to the screw tray to help keep all of those tiny screws organized. I had one question so I emailed the company directly with the address provided on the package. I was amazed how quickly they replied. My question was answered and I was given assurances that if I had any issues they would stand by the produce and make sure I was happy. I tackled the replacement and was amazed how easy they made it with the clear and concise diagrams and step by step instruction pamphlet. I had so much confidence I decided that half way through the screen change I would go ahead and upgrade the battery. I was able to pick up right where I stoped in the screen change without any confusion. Once I had the screen change finished and before I closed to case permanently I tested the display as suggested in the instructions. It was a wonderful feeling to see everything come to life and after verifying all of my data and photos were safe. I highly recommend this product ! Of coarse working with salt grain size screws of different types was tedious having every tool at my fingertips provided by this kit made everything go smoothly. Aken , the service representative who emailed me back was very courteous and a pleasure to work with ! I truly appreciate the time he took to get to know me and make sure my needs were met. The screen came faulty.... I took my cell phone to have this screen installed and in front of me the technician installed it and it didn't work... in the end I paid the technician to replace my cracked but functional screen... it's a bad product and a scam

I am very impressed with this kit. I tried a different brand's kit for an SE yesterday and this 7+ kit was SO much better. The tools are better quality (I borrowed them for the SE install when a screw was stripping), installation instructions are included and very good, and the kit includes some nice details. If I need a screen kit in the future I will probably look at this brand first. - colour coded tools that match a clearly labelled diagram, so no guessing which teeny tool to use and no risk of stripping screws from choosing the wrong one - colour coded diagram is magnetic so you can place each screw in the appropriate place on the diagram and it is held in place until you need it; this minimizes the risk of losing or mixing up the screws and causing damage - I found the written instructions mostly easy to follow and it was nice to not have to keep rewinding a tutorial video over and over to see a blurry picture. There was only one step that was unclear to me that I had to confirm on a video tutorial, and that was the procedure to separate and remove the cable for the home button. I first separated the chassis cable piece from the screen cable piece, used a blow dryer to soften the adhesive behind the screen cable, then separated the whole cable from the screen with a combination of tweezers and the included spudger tool. - the screen has the audio hardware attached so you do not have to change that portion, making the procedure simpler. This wasn't included on the other brand's SE screen I replaced and that was super fiddly to change. - a new waterproof adhesive strip is included for around the edge, where the front of the phone attaches to the back. It was a little fiddly to get lined up right but I'm not sure there would be any better way to do so. I used a flat side of the included plastic spudger tool to gently smooth it down. I don't know if the water resistance is as trustworthy as the original, but better than not replacing it once the phone was opened up. - the kit includes a tempered glass screen protector that is optional to use, to help prevent future breakage I can't speak to the durability, image quality, or functionality of the screen, audio hardware, etc., because the phone doesn't belong to me and is locked out. However, the screen did turn on and the display seems normal. If I had any suggestions to improve the kit I would mention to make Disassembly step 4, part 3 clearer, and, if possible, to make the magnetic diagram with a stronger magnet so the screws hold in place a little more firmly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this kit!

Bad quality

Bought for a friend and he said it was easy to replace and his phone looks brand new again

The installing wasn't hard since I fix phones from time to time but if you are no expert I would suggest to follow the guid included in the box, along with iFixit's guid to see the scewes, as it may get confusing and the visuals help more in general. For the screen quality it's not that good but for the price it's fair enough espically becuase that it's responsivness is great as long as your are not using more than 4 fingers. If you are looking to return the phone to 0km (brand new) I would suggest buying a high end screen for a $100 or find a not woking phone and use their screen.
