Understandably “delicate” for the thickness needed to make it usable. My only gripe is starting the peeling of the protective layer. After that it’s pure satisfaction ripping it off. Otherwise a great tool to have. Laser cut accuracy. Always triple check spacing and you’re good. Does what you need it to without measuring yourself. Just confirm they are accurate and it’s a no brainer to have kicking around for the next build. Shipped shrink wrapped to a 2inch thick piece of cardboard. Very well delivered and without defects. I’d buy more templates for sure.

Just received this template at my door today. Very fast shipping. The product itself was package great and I plan on keeping this template in the packaging when it is not in use. The only kind of issue that I had is one of the plastic dots at the 24th fret was not punched out all the way. (THIS IS A VERY FRAGILE material). I attempted just to poke the little plastic dot out of the hole and it crack the fret 23rd and 24th fret stencil. That is what I get for not just leaving the little dot in the hole. The packaging states that this is very fragile material and well I found out just how fragile it is because I didn't put much pressure at all to get the dot out and it the material just snapped. Other than that, I plan on using this template to make a much strong template and will pack this template away until it is absolutely needed again. I still give this 5 stars because it is very accurate. I matched it up to a couple name brand guitars that I have with the 25.5 scale and the template is dead on the money.

I started building cigar box guitars recently and this tool is a must! Perfect tool for the job as my guitar frets are perfectly placed now.

After I opened the package, I found that the scale is broken. I used super glue for the scale and sand it, but sometimes it would be broken again.
