Yes, as long as it is a rectangle lunchbox and not one that is more bag shaped.

We don’t microwave with plastic so probably not.

Unfortunately no it will not it's not insulated. Also I wouldn't put any canned fruit in any compartment in there. I drained my daughters very well and the other compartments still Got wet.!
