I reached out to Delta Technical Support, regarding maintenance of my Delta Table Saw. While we were talking, he suggested WD-40 Dry Lube for lubricating the saw blade, drive gears and table top. He told me that it will provide a "dry" lubricant which would repel moisture and lubricate the blade and gears. He also suggested that I use this on the the table. This is a very interesting product. I also now use this for garden and other metal tools (shovels, rakes, etc.). Many of my hand tools (shovels, rakes, hoes, asphalt tamper, etc.) came to me from my father and my grandfather. Many are over 80 years old. I use these tools regularly in the fall and summer months. This WD-40 Dry Lube is now a protectant I use on all my tools.

This wet to dry lubricant is excellent for lock cylinders. Goes in wet and leaves a dry lubricating film. Doesn't make a sludge or pack into the lock like the graphite of the yesteryears. Comparative to the more expensive trade brands like triflow. Over 10 years as a locksmith and at this point I don't use anything else in a cylinder.

I just started using this product and it works great. Use it to spray under deck of lawn mower, lubricate the slide locks on my windows as well as the tracks and lots of other things. Nothing gets tacky. Lubricant really works and surfaces stay dry. My only complaint is that when spraying a lot of the contents runs down from the top all over my hand. So, a lot of the product is wasted. This has never been an issue with other WD products. I hope the company will address this issue soon because it is an excellent product otherwise.
