Lavender Lilac Body Butter - Shea Cream with Jojoba Oil & Vitamin E - Hydrating Natural Moisturizer for Hands - 5.74 Fl Oz

It absolutely smells like natural lilacs, with no off artificial smell. I usually make my own whipped body butter. This formulation uses everything that I use. As a biochemist, I know that Jojoba is the most like our natural sebum (body oil). I look for jojoba in any moisturizer that I use. I also like to use vitamin E. Vitamin E is moisturizing, is an antioxidant, and it's a natural preservative, being antibacterial. Shea butter helps hold the whipped form, so instead of lotion, you get "butter". It absorbes beautifully, and attributes to staying power, even after repeated handwriting. The entire combination absorbs deep into the skin, without leaving it tacky or oily. My skin is soft and smooth. It smells like lilacs. The scent is medium strong, but quickly fades enough that it's noticeable, but not cloying; it's not sickening sweet. A little goes a long way. The formula is thick. The amount in the jar will last quite a while.

This body butter is thick...very thick, excellent for very dry or chapped skin. It's also great for nostalgia, it reminds me of my grandma and her lilacs. The scent is so accurate and so right. Like a vase of just picked lilacs were set before you. I can't get over how real this smells of lilacs. I detect no lavender, that's ok it's not revelant here. Treat yourself, it's so worth it.

Creamy and true lilac scent. Not that bubblegum scent like some lilac scents. Really moisturizes your skin. Pretty packaging. Recommend.

Update: My mom says this smells like an old lady smell. 🙄 She isnt feeling the lilac. But I still love it. Lol So take with that what you will. I love this body butter. I'm a huge fan of loud smells. I want the house down the street to be able to smell me after a shower and applying my sprays and lotions. This does the job! Lilac and lavender are such a good mix. It doesn't smell cheap or like those low quality scents. It's a good texture. Not watery and rubs on pretty well.

I really like this product to keep me moisturized - especially in winter. Pleasant lavender scent that does not linger. Soaks into skin quickly. Perfection in a pretty jar.

It's very moisturizing but it's so thick, it's more of a paste than a body butter. That also means you either have to spend more time massaging it into the skin or it will take a lot longer to sink in on its own. This is not a lotion you can slap on after a quick shower & get dressed right away. The smell is pretty, more lilac than lavender, but I'm not sure it's worth the paste texture. I'll use this up but not buy it again.

This smells very nice its tnick and does a great job making your skin feel soft and moisturized. I gave a 4 because the package is small and the smell although pleasant doesnt last long
