Works as described, it was certainly helpful alerting me when my elderly mother tried to getup of bed unexpectedly in the middle of the night. I was disappointed when the battery died in less than a week, I wish this model came with an AC adapter. After a few trials and errors, I want to respond to some of the critical comments posted here, maybe it will help future users. 1. The alarm was frequently going off during the night, even with minimal shifting in bed. I adjusted the pad, lowered it to the small of her back, resolved the problem on the first night. 2. People complain about it Crinkling when laying on it, I found it helpful to put it under the mattress pad. 3. Short battery life; my plan is to unplug it when not in use, hopefully, it will work, I can’t keep replacing the battery every week.

Uncomfortable. Crinkly sound if move. Stopped working in less than 1 month - the wire connection in the 'telephone' style jack wiggly, so you cannot trust it will alarm.

My wife likes to get out of bed at all hours. The bed alarm is a great tool and allows me to get rest knowing the alarm will wake me if she gets up! loud Beep, Good Battery life and very easy setup!
