Tried them on and immediately very happy with these! I'm going on a snorkeling trip soon and needed something more practical than a fashion bikini or boardshorts to wear under a wetsuit. I've had these sitting in my wishlist for a while and they seemed perfect for the job, so I finally bit. I wish I'd gotten them earlier. They feel better than I expected--super soft fabric! Medium thickness, 2 layers of material so there's no unwanted sheer effect while wearing. I'm 5'2" and typically wear pants size 5-6 (27-28" waist, thicker in the thighs). Went by the size chart and Medium fits me comfortably. The inseam length is perfect, short but just long enough that it doesn't roll up on my thighs while walking--this is a huge plus for me, I can't stand most boyshorts because of that issue! (they did roll/bunch up a little when I walked upstairs, but that's expected and I doubt I'll be doing that often while using these) The waistband is comfortable and goes to about bellybutton-level like the picture. If I had to make any changes, I'd love these even more if they had a slight "v-cut" type waistband for even better comfort and to prevent the band rolling down while bending. Overall great swim shorts, worth the money. Might even get another color in the future.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but I know what a process it is for a lot of women to find the right bathing suit. This bathing suit bottom is the best ever for my body type!! I have a big butt and thighs. So I have found that the board short type bottoms are the best. I usually want them loose so they don’t ride up when I walk. Plus I don’t like the underwear insert to cut into me. My pant size is 6 to 8 depending on how they run. But, I usually wear a 10 or 12 bathing suit bottom because of my shape. So I ordered a large in this bottom knowing that looser was better than tighter for me. OMG they are so perfect!!! First of all, they are a tighter fit but the way the legs are shaped they don’t ride up!! Second of all they don’t have that underwear insert, nor do they need it, so they are smooth fitting. I ordered the black with the seahorse which I love so much I am ordering all the colors and maybe even 2 of each in case they stop making them!!! They are very stretchy and comfortable and flattering.

Great fit. Comfortable. Used for swimming. One annoying thing. Shorts roll up at bottom when sitting.

These swim shorts are comfortable and flattering. I wore them all day at the beach and didn't have problems with them riding up or being too tight. Reasonably priced as well.

These are decent swim shorts, but they run small. I almost always wear a medium. I ordered a Large based on the size chart. They are still too tight in the waste. Be aware if you have any 'cushion' around the middle that they run small in that area. Otherwise nice fabric, not too thin, and good length.

I am 5,4 136lbs and the mediums are too tight. I’m usually a S/M so I’ll give these to my daughter and am ordering a large. They are sooo cute!!

Being short waisted I didn't want excess material, these fit perfect in the waist and leg where some styles are too tight in the legs these are just right (I'm an athletic build and my legs are normal to slim), I ordered a large so they would be comfy, hopefully they won't stretch too much when I swim in them.
