I took up watercolor landscape painting in 2020 as a pandemic hobby. I started off with economical priced hobbyist brushes which helped in my development. But wanting to improve in my paint and moisture control, which is important in watercolors, I decided to invest in these professional grade brushes. These bristles hold a lot of water and paint which allows me to make longer strokes without recharging. They also hold an amazingly sharp point for making lines whether thin, thick, or varied. Absolutely love these brushes. They are my favorite brushes when I do watercolor. I hardly use any of my other brushes. Totally recommend them.

I love all brushes made from Escoda. They are super well made, easily to use and the best part they always have great deals. I never bought a Escoda brush set for retail price. I find excellent deals with them here on Amazon and other places. Give them a go you will never look back.

So far, I really love the quality, dont buy cheaper brushes, if you want to try watercolor, these brushes are very well worth the cost. And they are synth, so no animals were used to make them. fall in love , get them.very happy.

Arrived promptly and package well. Brushes hold a lot of paint/or and water; however it will take some practice getting use to controlling it. It does hold/return to a point. I've only had for a few days so I cannot confirm its reliability nor durability; however I no reason to suspect I will be disappointed.

They are the best brushes that I have ever tried.I wish there was a larger size as well.

These are lovely brushes to use. I've been painting for over twenty years and have accumulated some great brushes in that time. These are as good as any of them. In fact these three will do anything you need. They taper to an incredible knife edged point and have a wonderful spring. Washes flow beautifully and really importantly they clean easily when changing colours, which a lot of brushes are not great at. I kept smiling as I did my first watercolour with them, thinking, 'wow' these are a real find. I didn't really know what to expect, but am so glad I got them. The incredible watercolourist Joseph Zbukvic uses Escoda brushes. One happy customer!

Really happy with these brushes. Arrived before expected and they are lovely to paint with. Good selection of sizes, no hairs falling out and the large brush is great for washes and holds lots of water.
