Fast NVMe Upgrade at a Great Price
This SSD installed easily and was recognized immediately. Boot times and app loading speeds improved noticeably compared to my old drive. It runs cool and performance is very solid for a Gen3 NVMe. Great value upgrade for laptops or desktops and perfect as a boot drive.

Very good, no complaints (yet)
No complaints. It has been working well since I got it (~1.5 years). I mostly use it to store my steam games because I got a bigger one for my OS.

Lasted only a few months after 5 years. I guess thats what was advertised and warrantied. I shouldnt be surprised, but the sting of losing everything feels terrible.

Good performance for the money, I hope they last ...
I recently picked up two of the 1TB drives for for an older Dell Precision T7910 Tower. This machine is a beast but really needed the benefit of booting from an NVMe drive. There are no native M.2 NVMe slots on the main board so, I installed these two drives onto a Dell designed PCIe non-RAID card. The card uses PCIe 3.0 x8 lanes for both SSDs (x4 per SSD) parked in an x16 slot. I am really impressed the performance of these SPCC drives. I have run CrystalDiskMark on both and attached to my review. I am pushing almost 2600MB/s on each drive for sequential 1M reads. Pretty fast for such an inexpensive SSD. I also over 2000MB/s 1M wrtites. These numbers exceed everything I have seen for these drives. I noticed that the two SSDs are not identical, I posted a picture of the two drives mounted on the Dell PCIe card, from the side you can clearly see that one drive has fewer chips than the other, the label is stuck on the circuit board versus onto chips like the other drive. They both show up the same in CrystalDiskInfo with one exception, the SSD that has fewer chips run 20 C hotter at idle. Seems peculiar that they would not be identical, maybe a change in the hardware revision. I am very happy with the drives at this point and I think they are a great value for the current market. Purchased: 02/03/2023 for $48/ea. UPDATE: 02/27/2023 I answered my questions regareding the extreme variation in temperatures as reported by CrystalDiskInfo, 64 degrees C on one drive and 40 degrees C on the other. The added photos show two very different versions of the drive which I received. I was not paying attention to the differences when I first installed the drives and did not notice the obvious changes in the versions. In the photos, the drive marked REV.B manufacture date is 42nd week 2022, the drive marked REV.C is dated 45th week 2022. The older REV.B drive is the one with fewer chips which only cover about 2/3 of the circuit board it runs hot ~60-64 degrees C. The newer REV.C drive has chips which populate the entire 2280 board, this is the drive that runs at around 40 degrees C. I purchased a couple of heat sinks to attach to the drives, they are actually running a little hotter than when the drives had the Dell board fan shroud intalled (the shroud would not fit over the drives with the heat sinks in place). I think I will order another drive and see if I get another REV.C, if so, I'll return the REV.B A little picky perhaps, but I prefer for the drives to be identical.

Looks professional, well priced
For a M.2 NVMe drive, I like that the packaging is very small & lightweight. It's also a plus that relevant technical info is displayed on the package rather than drawings of racing cars and rockets for example. This shows that the product is also made with power-users in mind thus a simple, clear package print. For the SMART capability it's somehow not seen by all Windows programs, some can get it and some can't. Perhaps the drive must be physically plugged into the real motherboard to get it everywhere (I plugged it into a USB adapter). For the details it's a 512-bytes physical sector size, so it's best to also make sure that your partitions match it (512-bytes chunk/cluster-size), and I don't think that 512-bytes is at all a problem for any M.2 drive anyway. The packaging also says Supports NVMe 1.3, but the drive appears to support the newer NVMe 1.4 as well. So it supports both NVMe 1.3 & NVMe 1.4 (it's still Gen3x4, but NVMe 1.4 itself cans still be used). The drive supports SMART, TRIM & VolatileWriteCache. Another thing worth knowing about is that for another drive model the shipments were sometimes shipped without temperature sensor so a static value was returned always. There were two versions and either of the two were selected at random for shipping. I don't know if it's the case for this NVMe model, but it would be much better to just always ship the temperature sensor-enabled versions always. Otherwise it's hard to know when the drive needs to take a break due to heat (which cans happen while doing I/O-heavy stuff, like mass-copying or intensive random reads for gaming). For the price it's a rare find, this product is priced neutrally, neither too low nor too high. Perfect price-match for getting hold of a 1TB NVMe drive nowadays. More (basic) drive info: Disk geometry: Cylinders: 124519 Tracks/Cylinder: 255 Sectors/Track: 63 Bytes/Sector: 512 Total disk sectors: 0 Logical sector size: 512 Physical sector size: 512 Media rotation rate: N/A Buffer size: N/A ECC size: N/A The rest wasn't able to be reliably acquired over my USB adapter. However it's worth noting that 'Trusted Computing' is unsupported - good news, it was rather 'anti-user computing' anyway. Therefore this NVMe drive won't agree to work against you for 'trusted' purposes. This product is one the cheaper 1TB NVMe drives, and yet it matches a pretty good quality alike any higher-priced one.
