Fabulous little set. Excellent build and quality. The design gives the flexibility of long and short options for both cooking and eating. A little heavy but the pack size is excellent.

Bought this recently and I'm really impressed! All aspects of this item are quality. Its made so well, looks great (black) and is easy to use. They even provide a rubber sleeve to help you tighten and loosen the cutlery as you put it together/take it apart. Its really compact and light. It looks so good and I know could make my work colleagues envious when theyre fighting over the last fork. I totally recommend this item. At the price it is great value for money and would make a fab stocking filler/secret santa etc for this time of year.

My husband loves this! He is in love with unique type of gadgets and when making his own lunch he doesnt like using works cutlery as dont know how its been cleaned so when he lost his old cheaper one he wanted something more sturdy and easy to carry and he always gets compliments on how cool this set is! Don't be fooled you screw them all together but it definitely is sturdy. Brilliant piece of kit.

Great quality set and a must have

I've had this kit for a few years now, and it's a solid little piece of gear that gets used a couple of times a month, mainly because it's so compact it just lives in my work bag. It handles a good variety of meals; the knife is a bit on the small side for anything serious like a steak, but for general grub, it's spot on. The inclusion of chopsticks is a thoughtful addition too. Assembly is straightforward, though occasionally the handles can loosen up a touch during a meal, which is a minor niggle. My only real gripe with the design is the case; while it fits, the pieces can jiggle about a bit – a better compartmentalised design would be a welcome upgrade. Cleaning is easy enough, just a quick wipe with a wet wipe or a rinse under the tap. Durability isn't an issue at all – after a few years of regular use, there are no signs of wear on the cutlery itself, which is impressive. The quality is definitely there, and for the convenience of always having proper cutlery on hand, I'd certainly recommend it. However, and this is a fair point, I do think it's a bit on the pricey side for what it is. You're paying for that clever compact design and the quality stainless steel, but it still feels a touch steep.

These sets are great, got a few now. Very compact and easy to keep handy/for travelling though the steel ones are heavier. Easy to keep clean.

Très très beaux couvert en acier Inoxydable ! Je les adores ~~💖 Les finitions sont vraiment belles. Acheté pour utiliser en voyages et randonnées. Les couverts sont faciles à nettoyer, solides, légers (bien sûr un peu plus lourds que ceux en plastique) et pratiques car ils sont modulables. Fourchette, cuillère, couteau et baguettes. Fournis avec 6 embouts (dont 3 de fin et 3 intermédiaires), chacun mesurant 7 cm. On peut alors jouer sur les tailles des couverts (vraiment pratique). Le côté modulaire permet de ranger tout ça dans une micro boite protégée à l'intérieur. La boîte se range facilement vu sa taille de 8.2x6.5x2 cm et on n'entends pas le cliquetis des couverts qui se touchent grâce à la protection (merci !). Pour le moment je les ai toujours pris dans mon bagage cabine en avion et je n'ai jamais eu de souci.

Everything screws together well and appears to be manufactured sturdy. Arrived it good condition too. All tools were spotless, only the case was slightly dented but keeps closed nonetheless. Metal case came in a cardboard box and inside all pieces were wrapped in paper rather than plastic to protect during shipping, which was very nice to see given it wants to be an eco mindful product :)! The metal case has a thin silicone insert, presumably to reduce damage to the tools but I mean they rattle around in there, they‘ll prolly scratch each other at some point? Perhaps a silver look would keep from that being a visual issue down the line? Can’t tell yet how sturdy or necessary the coloured coating is. As for how portable it is, it does fit into a pocket like advertised but only if you have pants from the male section and if they fit well, the case is a little heavier than your average cash wallet. Nonetheless I recommend this to anyone who can make a little space in a bag or pocket to keep it on hand, it barely takes up any afterall.

Because I am an absolute chop stick klutz (can’t hold them easily for the life of me), I bought this cutlery set to eat without too much drama on a recent visit to Japan. I’ll also take them to Europe later this year where I anticipate bringing left-over restaurant meals back to my hotel room for later consumption. The cutlery set is well designed and each utensil is put together and dismantled very easily. It looks classy and does the job very well. The knife blade is on the smaller side but does the job of cutting through all types of food. I find the curve of the spoon edges slightly uncomfortable for my tiny mouth but they may be perfectly alright or someone else. Be forewarned, the box holding the cutlery set is very heavy but that makes it very durable….fine for luggage transportation but too heavy for me to haul around in my purse. Instead, I simply put all the pieces in a zip-lock bag which was much lighter. I also purchased the silicone pouch designed to hold the metal box to prevent denting and scratching…was a perfect fit and the zipper ran smoothly. I am very happy with my purchase and am glad that I don’t have to depend on plastic or wooden utensils (which usually break the second you touch them) being provided by any take-out food establishment. We spent one lousy weather afternoon in our Japanese hotel, sharing our decadent desserts purchased earlier and could not have been happier using these cutlery pieces. You will not regret having this set on your travels (near or far).

While the item was shipped promptly, and the parts of the set that did arrive are well made and quite good. The two chopsticks that were advertised both in photos and the item description were missing from the set. In the middle of negotiating a solution to this Amazon support simply abandoned the chat and, though the issue wasn't resolved, and I have recieved no follow up regarding this.
