Excellence in a bike bar phone holder
This. Is. Awesome! Build quality matches my bike's, very solid. Came with an allen key/wrench to put it together, and it was easy. This is machined from various aluminum alloys, the bolts are chromed steel and quite heavy, a little long - BUT it comes with shorter screws that I could also use by putting it in a slightly different position on my bars. It is a little heavy for a phone mount however it is vastly more solid than any plastic holder could ever be, and that is important to me. There are silicone rubber inserts that you put on all of the phone mounting points. This thing holds solidly, does not flex at all, zero flex in this. There is a plastic ring that goes around your bars prior to putting on the holder. I like this!

Exactly What I Needed
This fits perfectly on my Trek FX1, along with all the other gadgets I insisted on mounting on my handlebars. I live in Manhattan and my bike is like my car -- it's my primary mode of transportation 10 or so months out of the year. This phone mount is perfect for keeping my phone in view and out of my hands, especially when I'm riding somewhere new and need a map/directions visible and audible. The screw-type grip is very effective over any bumps and even during a few unfortunate spills. (This could be a downside if you want to quickly access your phone, like some handlebar mounts might allow.) The only thing I would add/mention is that I purposefully did NOT install the small rubber/silicone pads which grip the sides of the phone. I use a leather case from Apple, so the grip is somewhat snug on that without using the silicone grips. This way, the phone is more snug because it fits "under" the little tooth at the top of each grip. With the silicone added, I think the phone would be snug based solely on squeezing from the sides; this way, it's squeezed from the sides AND there's a tiny little edge to on the top of each grip which holds it in place using more than just friction. Otherwise, the silicone grips would prevent the phone from fitting under the tiny tooth/corner. (I don't know if I explained that well at all, but the moral of the story is: great mount, and my altered use does not mean it gets less than 5 stars.)

Modified it to hold my drone controller.
I chose this mount because it is made out of aluminum with no plastic. I modified it to mount my drone controller to my ebike. I cut off the flange for the lower stop and ground down the 4 tabs on the top of the posts that hold the phone. I works great! It attaches to the handlebar very securely and does not move or flex.

Much Better than Plastic
I made the mistake of buying a cheaper, plastic, phone holder. It had bands that strapped around the phone giving the appearance that my phone would be safe if the holder broke. Well, it broke in a key place where the rubber straps were of no help. I had just finished a ride with downhill speeds of 30mph and was crossing a dirt path to another road when it failed. Fortunately, it fell into a grassy at a slow speed. I replaced the broken cheap model with this Rock Bros. It is much better quality. However, even though I think it is unlikely to break, I re-purposed the rubber straps from my old holder and use them on the Rock Bros as an added safety measure. The strap is connected with a zip tie to the handlebars. Overall, I am very happy with this phone holder.

This is Too Well Built to use on a bike
Got this to put on my e-bike. This thing is sturdy and made of metal. Metal that won't bend if you can't keep your bike upright. I considered it risky to mount on a bike. So, I mounted it on my motorcycle where it's out of the way and moved the motorcycle one to my bike. On the Motorcycle It holds the phone great. Easy to install, just consider that same sturdiness could also be a liability in a crash. On the motorcycle it's out of the way, on the bike it was in the way.

Looks good ( 3 starts prior to testing)
Well for starters my item is not black and red. It's black and orange. Material looks ok and strong. I am not too sure how long it would last. I will be taking ir in some rides. Also, I was able to use it without the rubber pieces and it held my phone better. ( I WAS ABLE TO KEEP IT IN ITS CASE) After a I fully test it I will give it the proper stars.

Good Quality and Value - Read Before You Install
Appears to be well made and sturdy. Holds my Pixel 3 XL without any obstruction. I modified and followed the recommendations of other reviewers: Gregory Locke suggested not installing the silicone pads, which worked well with my phone case. Sergei had photos depicting mounting on the handlebar stem, which worked great because I needed handlebar room for riding lights and a Garmin Edge. (The Garmin Varia RTL515 Cycling Rearview Radar and Tail Light with the phone app are HIGHLY recommended for safe riding.) I tied an elastic cord around the handlebar stem as added security for operator error (me) and until I have enough riding time and fully confident with the product.

trail tested
would highly recommend gently but firmly holds phone and has a large range of size. tbh, i was not expecting it to actually work for mtb, but i’ve taken several flies through the air (and then the dirt) and the mount has held up and managed to protect my phone each time. 3/5 on not having assembly instructions, but if you passed 5th grade you should be good to go. if the mount seems to wiggle or is loose, torque the [redacted] out of the bolts and you will be in buildings my friend another note: the rubber foot on the bottom WILL FALL OFF IF YOU DONT GLUE IT IN LOL i replaced mine with a section of small rubber tubing from an auto parts store

Como recomendacion, checar la funda del celular ya que no siempre son compatibles y ajustar bien, ya que con el paso del timepo y uso se puede ir aflojando.

This is one very good set. It’s very easy to assemble, and the most interesting thing it’s that your phone doesn’t fall off the handlebars. Worth the money
