This fly net is really good quality as far as fly nets go. It’s much stronger than the previous ones I’ve had and does not fray when cut or when the dogs go in and out. It came in two colour choices, black or white. Most of the patio door size nets only just cover the frame work. However due to the fact I have wooden blinds that stick out a couple of inches from the upvc door , I needed something that was going to be able to cover the whole door opening in order for them to work properly. These were perfect in size, width wise, they were quite a bit longer than needed but I just rolled them up a couple of times and stitched them.. They were fairly easy to put up. ( I did it solo) I started by folding the Velcro bit in half.. once I’d found the middle I stuck that middle piece to the middle part of the door opening, starting higher in the middle of the door and tapering down ever so slightly towards the end of the top part before then attaching the downward part of the strip.. this slight raise in the middle ensues that the magnetic strips will fall together and touch properly., then slowly peeling the sticky bit off and attaching each side to the wall around the door opening all the way to the bottom . ensuring you press it on very well.. you then attach the net via the other Velcro bit attached to the net it had some white drawing pin type tact’s that could be tapped into the wall with a hammer for added holding power . The summer was a great test run for the net, I have two French bulldogs and they managed to manoeuvre the going in and out of it.. the great thing is that it has magnets in the join of both sides of the net so when the dogs went through it would fall back and the magnets would automatically pull the two sides closed together , stopping anything going through. So the dogs were the only little pests I had to deal with most of the summer :) Even in those humid evenings when your scared to leave the door open when the lights are on because all the biting midgis/ mosquitos are attracted to the light and come in, not a problem with this netting . All in all it was a good buy and I would definitely buy this again when I need one. Another great Amazon find .

Why did you choose this product over others?:A friend had one installed recently and gave a good review of it so we ordered one for our back door. Our door opens outwards but this wasn’t a problem as we installed it inside. The fit was perfect. We cleaned the door frame, checked the screen for size to determine fixing lines then attached the Velcro direct as a previous reviewer had suggested, pressing well to get a good grip. Flies have all but disappeared as they only come in through open windows now. Very happy with the quality and ease of installation.Flies:Marked difference in number of flies entering house.Functionality:Very easy to walk through, even when holding things.Build quality:Very good, finished nicely. Strong Velcro fixings.Magnet strength:Wind funnels down to our back door but the magnet strength has been proven in the last few days to withstand it easily. Lovely to feel the slight breeze flowing through it to cool and freshen the house but with no flies!

Just received my screen, absolutely delighted. I took my own measurements so was quite apprehensive in case I was out and it wouldn’t fit. It’s perfect, so easy to fit and really good quality. The magnets are great, just close up behind you. The dog hasn’t worked it out yet but she will. Looking forward now to a fly and wasp free conservatory all summer. Really happy, it was worth the wait, they do make it to your measurements so I did expect to wait a little longer. So happy, you won’t be disappointed just make sure you measure 2 or 3 times to get it right.

Easy to install on my upvc door frame. Good quality and strong magnets. Adhesive on hook and loop tape didn’t seem very strong but will see how it lasts.

Great product. I measured my patio door carefully and was happy that I bought exactly the right size, you do need to ensure it is the correct size. Easy to put up, if I can do it anyone can. The best bit? No more pesky flies in my conservatory!

Sturdy, fit for purpose good value for money.

Highly recommend this. Easy to fit. Gone are the awful tatty net material that you have to cut to size. Magnets work really well and you can loosen the Velcro edges so the magnets go back together leaving no gap. Delivery was next day.

Don’t bother with the inferior discount store door screens, this screen is the only one you’ll need. Easy to install and the adhesive backed Velcro tape is strong. Bought this screen for my conservatory doors last year and my kitchen door recently and the screen has remained intact without any tears. The magnets are strong and close fully. Highly recommended product
