Reliable and Comprehensive Leak Detection System!
I recently installed the YoLink Water Leak Detection Starter Kit, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home. The system is incredibly reliable, with the LoRa technology providing an impressive range of up to 1/4 mile in open air. This ensures that even the most remote areas of my home are covered. The SpeakerHub Audio/Talking Hub is a great feature, providing clear audio alerts when a leak is detected. The integration with SMS/Text, email, and push notifications means I am always informed, no matter where I am. The compatibility with Alexa, IFTTT, and Home Assistant adds a lot of convenience, allowing me to integrate the system seamlessly with my smart home setup. The installation was straightforward, and the water leak sensor is very sensitive, providing peace of mind that any leaks will be detected quickly. Overall, this starter kit offers excellent value and comprehensive protection against water damage. Highly recommended!

YoLink Products are easy to use and work great!
YoLink products are great and easy to use (I've been using them for at least 8 years). I have their HUB, audible alarm, many water sensors, smart plugs, water valve operator, and garage door controllers. They all work seamlessly with their mobile app and are easy to set-up. The water sensors have saved my home from water damage at least 4-times. If you don't have water sensors in your home, it's only a matter of time before you experience a water even that will cost you a lot of money. YoLink's products will pay for themselves many times over because it avoids costly water damage. Garage operators provide peace of mind that garage is not open (plus can operate remotely if needed).

Water Leak Detection
No regrets yet. Setup was a breeze. All the sensors connected on the first try, no problem. The app's super easy to use and has way more features than I'll probably ever use. Can't say for sure how accurate the sensors are, but they haven't gone offline since I put them in. After dealing with a huge water leak before, these sensors are totally worth it for the peace of mind.

Small size, very sensitive to water and a snap to install.
This unit is very tiny and works great. It is pretty sensitive to water. It is easy to use, just pare it up with your YoLink hub and set it where you want water to be detected. It can be pared directly to a water shut-off device from YoLink if you are using it that way. We placed ours on our boat to alert us if the bilge pump fails for some reason. Our neighbor's boat sunk recently during a storm while docked because their pump failed. We don't want this to happen to us. It is a good security investment value for our piece of mind.

This could be the start of a beautiful relationship...
Humphrey Bogart quote notwithstanding, this is the most impressive home automation startup I've ever dealt with. I decided to add water leak detection to my home automation setup and originally chose a DLink option, based on some positive previous experiences. But DLink's device is not ready for prime time- I never could get it to communicate properly and gave up. I then saw YoLink's leak detectors on Amazon with some very strong reviews, so I figured I'd give them a try. The system, which does require a hub, was simple to set up and worked perfectly. The LoRA technology they use has many benefits over WiFi or Bluetooth, allowing widely spaced sensors that last 2 years on 2 AA batteries, providing incredibly flexible placement options. The only thing I didn't realize is that it utilizes notifications to your cell phone or PC to alert you to a problem. I didn't want to miss a problem that happened at night when our phones are downstairs on chargers, so I looked for a siren option to add to the hub. That's when I found this product, the YoLink Speaker Hub, which apparently had just been introduced- there were only 12 reviews. But they were solid reviews and I was already impressed by the ease and performance of my YoLink detectors, so I ordered this to replace the silent hub I started with. Well, from the amazing capabilities and expansion options of the Speaker Hub, it is obvious that YoLink has big plans for a comprehensive home automation suite. This is both a good and a possibly less good thing. The flexibility to customize alarms, alerts, notifications, spoken alerts, etc is great. But the learning curve is much steeper. So to get the Speaker Hub to do what I wanted required 2 calls to customer service. And this is where YoLink blew my socks off. Both calls were answered by the second ring by a YoLink engineer! And these guys know their system software inside and out. The first call got me 90% of the way there, but one issue stumped me. The second call resolved that issue in a couple of minutes. The system now provides an audible alert that announces which detector sensed a leak, as well as sending text notifications and emails in case we weren't home. All of this happens within seconds of the sensor touching water- they even placed contacts on top of the sensor so it can detect a leak that is dripping from above before a pool of water forms. In the process of speaking to the engineers, it is clear that they are rightly proud of their product, and intend to continue improving and expanding its capabilities. The leak detectors using the Speaker Hub are a great solution on their own, but it is obvious that they've built in a ton of capabilities so that as they expand their offerings, they won't have to modify the software every time they add another device. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. Your move, YoLink!

These work well. Great range. 4 stars because this one replaced one that stopped working
I've had Yolink devices for many years. I love that they are easy to add to my hub, fantastic range and do what they are supposed to do. The app is easy and intuitive. I knocked one star off because one of my leak detectors said it had a bad battery, so I went in to replace it. Followed instructions, and it simply wouldn't be recognized by the hub or come back online. I tried several batteries and tested the voltage, but nothing would bring it back. It was a few years old, so probably out of warranty. They are so inexpensive, though, I just ordered another one to replace it. I received the new one, and it paired up no problem. I'm back in business. I took one star off because this was a replacement for the one that just stopped working and wouldn't come back online, no matter what I tried. I have many YoLink devices, and this is the only one that has done this so far, so I'm not deterred from YoLink at all.

Great starter kit for YoLink ecosystem
Good value and range. I live on a large property and have these set up strategically across my home and in my shed. I use this to make sure our water heater and other things are not leaking. This feeds to the auto valve as well. Our shed is about a quarter mile out so the range on the hub is perfect for us and really reliable.

These could save you thousands of dollars.
This is an honest review that I haven’t been compensated for in any way. This YoLink leak sensor works perfectly. I’ve had this YoLink leak sensor starter kit for over a year now and it works great. Over the past year I’ve never had any false alarms. Only real ones. Including last night when my laundry room flooded. Each unit has its own alarm although they are hi pitched and difficult for me to hear well. The hub has an alarm in which its volume is adjustable. It will send notifications via email and instant alerts over your cellphone. I’ve never once missed an alarm due to lack of alerts. The leak under my kitchen sink would have cost the price of a new laminate flooring. I have one under my dishwasher but have never had a leak there. The laundry room alarm saved me from having a huge mess to clean up. They are so small that you can put them almost anywhere and they are barely noticeable. They have sensors both on the top and bottom of each unit to handle various leak scenarios. I love these so much that it’s been over a year since I bought them and I’m using my valuable time to sit down and write a review. They have paid for themselves many times over and having the peace of mind, knowing that if there is ever a leak, I will be notified immediately. If something should ever happen to them I will definitely be buying more.
