Time saver
Great for the money.happy to recommend> saves a lot of time taking panniers off and on.

I got these MIK panniers to put on my bike, but I also wanted a trunk bag with the same quick release capabilities. I added this Double Decker to the topside of the panniers' Adapter Plate and then drilled holes into my trunk bag and installed another MIK Adapter Plate onto that. After that everything snapped into place with ease and detached just as easily with the MIK Key. Keeping with the theme of quick release storage, I even added a Basil front basket that snaps on and off with a push of the button. My bike folds in half, so it's really convenient to be able to take all the luggage off so easily, fold up the bike, and toss it all in the back of the Jeep.

Très pratique. Cher pour un bout de plastique mais quand on a le système, ils ont le monopole…

Mik Double Decker past niet zonder het Basil mandje aan te passen. Mandje past dan alleen maar i.c.m. bestaande Basil fietstas met deze Double Decker gemonteerd. Het Basil mandje past dan niet meer afzonderlijk van de fietstas. Ook zijn de bijgeleverde boutjes van de Double Decker kleiner dan de bestaande boutjes van de mik plaat van de fietstas. Hierdoor raakt het schroefdraad van mik plaat van de fietstas beschadigd. Hier is dus niet door Basil over nagedacht. Jammer. Ik heb het daarom teruggestuurd.

I might say, that's the best idea Basil came with for "automatic" panniers. It does the job relentless, very stable and I can associate my side bags and a trunk bag for bike packing, all secured. Be aware you have to change positions of your top bag (trunk bag, box, whatever). That's the only inconvenience.
