Works, great is to vary your product, I have 2 different Fords and one is a 4 wheel drive, so I look forward to ironing out all the issues with my vehicles as my 4 world drive is actually broke down at the moment, so I can't wait to get it towed over here and hook this computer up and see exactly what's wrong with it. It has many different features, such as a live data stream of all the components, your engine, the way the running the temperatures.For example , I don't have any codes getting thrown , but banks one and two , which cylinder one and two are running rich to lean back and forth constantly. That's\nAn live data stream that has many different functions.But that tells me that something's going out could be an oxygen sensor spark plug could be a coil pack , I'll find out eventuall. It's a very helpful system that have as well as truly deleting codes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR FORD OWNERS 1996-2010+ PLUS

I’m impressed. When it’s plugged in, you see 6 choices on the main screen. If you have a Ford, hit the Ford button. The others are to scan non Ford vehicles for the generic codes. If you have a Ford, this identifies the vehicle right away. It will scan each module (naming each as it goes). Even the power seat modules. You won’t get that with a scanner made for all OBD II ports to get very broad codes that typically don’t help with finding the actual problem. This actually found a stored fault from when one of my rear signal bulbs had gone out. It was also dated when the bulb was replaced. My reason for it was to diagnose a power seat heater issue. It gives you Ford specific codes and also instantly reads the definition. No more googling. Great product. Can also reset the battery control module when a battery is replaced. Highly recommended while this is still somehow available. Gets you dealer type scans.

Not a mechanic, and I’m wary of cheap tools for my car. I found this reader easy to use and gave very detailed information. I was able to verify everything on here with a mechanic friend, and he agreed that this was a good deal for a OBD reader that also give lots of diagnostic information. Caveat, the emissions, etc, readings only work for Ford vehicles, didn’t work on my Kia. However, it was able to read the OBD codes on the Kia and gave the definitions, just no emissions info. It does state all that in the description, so I didn’t expect it to work with the Kia at all, it was a pleasant surprise. Not a deal breaker though as it’s my Ford that’s been giving me issues and that’s what I bought it for. I have a 2009 Ford Focus and a 2013 Ford Fusion. All around a great price for a good OBD reader that’s not super fancy or complicated. Recommend to all non-mechanics

Bought to use on a 2017 F-150 as advertised just for the ABS function listed in ad. Plugged it up, ABS was on the menu. Selected it and got function not supported by this module.

I have a couple of issues with my Ford Explorer ST and wanted a more brand specific OBDII tool. This worked right out of the box on my 2015 F150, but on the Explorer I had to manually download and install the update from the Ancel website. It had multiple languages, so make sure to select the right one for your application. Before the update this wouldn't do anything more than the basic functions with OBDII on the Explorer. After the update, it has most of the Ford specific functions that I wanted. I'd give this 4.5 stars for that reason - the company should do OTA updates like some other tools that I have, or ship with the latest software. My cars aren't brand new...I'm guessing they could have shipped this with a more recent build. That said, it did the trick and I highly recommend updating the software BEFORE returning, as this tool is reasonably priced and it does work (for my two Fords anyway).

Good just as I expected

the scanner operated correctly, but I expected the update to really "update" the scanner. software update will NOT operate on MAC. The update is to model year 2022

This OBDII can not reset oil life on a Ford ranger 2021 model. Most of the functions says that it's not supported.
