Burton & Burton, Watercolor Butterflies Porcelain Mug

For years I have been searching and not finding a coffee mug that checks all the boxes. this is it! it's a full 16 +oz, it has a thin out curved lip, a comfortable handle, festive design for the morning wake up and sturdy but not heavy and clunky. I couldn't be more pleased.

I like everything about these mugs. They are the right size. The lip is thin. They are pretty. I like the designs there easy to clean and keep right by my coffee pot in my teapot for whenever I want to use them. I have broken one and I went right out and purchased another one because I don’t want to be without it.

I love B&B cups and have several patterns- they are all beautiful to look at- 16 o with a thin rim so delightful to drink from

This mug is HONESTLY, MY FAVOTITE! The "REAL" story is...this is a replacement one, because I loved THIS MUG SO MUCH, (when glitzy me broke the 1st one) my AMAZING, LOVING Husband surprised me, by replacing it! Yes, he found THE EXACT ONE! I am SO IN LOVE W/ the design, (butterflies are my thing)the weight of the mug is PERFECT, I prefer a size like this for tea/coffee, it can be microwaved OR put in a dishwasher, the handle fits my grip comfortably AND the lip on the edge is more suited to me. ( yep, I'm weird)

My mug that holds 16 oz. of black coffee finally bit the dust. I had a heck of a time finding a replacement that is not too heavy and actually holds the full 16 oz. of coffee--most others claiming that capacity mean if it's filled right up to the edge. I have included a photo with 16 oz. of coffee in the mug. Also appreciate that the cup is somewhat thinner and less heavy than most large mugs.

The mug is a perfect size. It easily holds the 16 oz it says it does. It even holds a little more if you fill it to the rim. I like the flared lip, which prevents any drips. This is a must for me. I search high and low for size and shape and finally found it. I don’t find it too heavy, although maybe an elderly person might. The only thing I’m worried about is that it’s made in China and is porcelain, so likely has lead in it. I don’t know how much and This is the only drawback. Corelle has no lead but I can’t find a mug the right size and shape I want.
